I am just building my family tree. My great great grandmother's name was Catarina Merano. She was married to Ygnacio (ignacio) Mancillas. I think they lived in Michoacan. Not sure of that

He had three kids. My grandfather Manuel, Joseph Medrano and Tomasa Medrano. My grandfather was born in Roma, Texas We have no idea what happened to their dad Jesus after Manuel was born in 1892 and was the youngest. According to church records he was born about 1860 because he was 23 the day he married my great grandmother.

There sons name was Jesus Medrano and he was married to Maria Ysabel Guajardo. She passed away giving birth to my grandfather and we arent sure what happen to Jesus Medrano after that. That happened in 1893?

Well I don't know much about my family history but my maiden name is Medrano n I believe the names mentioned were the names of my grandfathers parents... (my great grandparents) but I only seen the names on a tombstone a few months back...

Im not sure where they passed away? They are my fathers greatgrandparents listed in catholic records attending the wedding of my fathers grandfather in Nuevo Leon Mexico in 1883.

Hi, I'm new to this I really don't know much about my dad's family history all I do know is his parent's are from San Luis Potosi and the name Petra rings a bell. He was born in May of 1934 but in Iowa his dad was a coal miner so they moved quite a bit his name was Puenquiento I can't spell it and his mom Francisca. My dad David middle name Romo. some of my family names i know. my grandma her name was carmen she was with abel im not sure if they merried or not they lived in hayward ca. the kids names are mary, gabriel,cecilia, and not sure if there another one. but gabriel thats my dad he has a daughter born befor me name luana then got with my mom her name is monica both of my parents born in hayward.. they had 3 kids together me im monique geniva medrano my brother gabriel medrano jr. and my baby sister maxine chantel medrano. i was born in hayward my brother and sister born n stockton ca.some info that might b handy is my mom told me the i have italian, frm my dads side and spanish n mexican from her side.. i not sure if she said mexican frm both sides.. also another thing i can remember my aunt mary told me that our last names root was another name and its n italilan name n that, that last name somewhere n italy theres a street named after us,, but i cant remember da other last name... and that the family tree stops at my father and mom together so it needs to b up dated frm there kids and grandkids.. theres anyone that knows about the medrano family n hayward or the bay n california plz email me at geniva.medrano@yahoo.com thank u

Alyssa Medrano, near Dimmit has married and has 2 beautiful babies now, happily married with her husband of 4 yrs. Good info........this is what I know-maybe something will sound familiar: Mid-late 1800's: Jose Medrano married Sebastiana Cortez--they had children-one I know of is Julian Medrano. Julian married Gavina Chavez. They in turn had many children, one being Maria Josephina Medrano, my mother in law. They all were from Matehuala SL Potosi.

I do know that he married in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon on July 02, 1883. He Married Maria Isabel Guajardo Landin. He also is on a list of guys who went up against the city administration for some reason in October 10 of 1884. My father told me that he was from San Luis Potosi. That is all we know about him????????

My grandfather was named Manuel Medrano and was born in Roma, Texas on June 24th 1892. He had a brother named Jose and a sister named Tomasa. Manuel and Jose moved to Chicago as boys. There father was named Jesus Medrano. He was from San Luis Potosi. He was married in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon on July 2,1883 to a woman named Ysabel Guajardo. She was a Spaniard but not sure if she was born in Spain. My dad told me that she had Blonde hair and Blue Eyes.

My grandfather was named Manuel Medrano and was born in Roma, Texas(Starr County) His dad was named Jesus Medrano and was married to Ysabel Guajardo There is record of them being married in 1893 in the ancestry.com records. They were married then moved to Texas. My grandfather Manuel moved to chicago as a boy and moved to Sabinas Hidalgo Nuevo Leon before world war I.

Hey do you know where in texas rebecca was born? I live in san antonio but was born and raised in the rio grande valley area along the border. my grandfather was born in saltillo mexico in a small township/colonia named las norias de los medranos? I have been told that the family originated from the basque region of spain but am not really sure. Good luck.... i am also trying to track down the family origins
