There were quite a few Meldrums in SE Michigan and they were captains of barges that traveled up and down the great lakes.
Do yoiu have additional information about Elisabeth? Such as a possible birth year or who she married? Any siblings? Or do you have a burial place and date? I have a ton of Meldrum descendant information from this area.
