To Lynn, John, and others,
My aunt, Mary Katherine Jackson, married Harry N. Mergen on 12/28/1920 in San Diego, CA. At the time he was an Ensign stationed on the USS Mississippi. They had one daughther, Janice Joye Mergen(my cousin). There was a divorce shortly thereafter. However, Janice Joye produced a large number of Mergen relatives in the So. Calif. area. I believe Harry Mergen and his family were from Nebraska. I would like to know what became of Harry and extend the genealogy to include the So. Calif. branch. I would be delighted to share the work-up with you. Thanks! (2/4/01)
