Miller and Herrick in Mass

You didn't include any dates, or approximate dates, in your post so I went looking at your message history and found dates for Robert L. Herrick. I found him on the SSDI and assume this is his wife:

Herrick, Dorothy, b 23 Dec 1917; d May 1987; last residence Gloucester, Essex Co, MA; Soc Sec card issued in MA.

A copy of her death certificate should show the names of her parents. Accuracy only as good as the knowledge of the informant. On the other hand she had to fill out the application for her Soc Sec card and it should show the names of her parents, her residence at the time of her application and other data, too.

You might try the RAOGK (Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness) site. There are several volunteers listed for Essex Co, MA, and at least one says she will do Gloucester.

I would be interested in contacting any descendants of William Edwin Millers and Mary Eliza Millers. The family moved from Lakewood, Ohio to Downey, California in the early 1940's. My mother was Anne Millers Thorne. their only daughter.

I am seeking the person by the name of Lanny (Knuth) MILLERS or possibly MILLER who was born ca. 1930-32 probably Cleveland Ohio area to mother Irene.
This individual then migrated to the area of southern CA, probably the Los Angeles area, when he was quite young and may still be living in the Los Angeles basin.
