Does anyone have any info further back from Edward Missen b.1690 (or thereabouts), father of Francis & Thomas Missen. Would love to piece together some information to possibly connect them to a line of Missens that includes Gilbert Missen.

Thanks in advance!

Belinda.

Missen family

Ancestry.com kindly agreed to my request and have set up a message board for the Missen surname.
I am researching my wife Fiona's family tree. Her gran was Alice Missen who was born in 1882 in south east London. She married a Mr Wilkinson and raised five sons in the Southwark area (SE17 Elephant and Castle). Her sons were born between 1909 and 1924 and were named Tom, Sid, John, Eric, Ronald and Bobby. They lived at Munton Rd and then Rodney Place Buildings. My wife's dad was Ronald Wilkinson (born 1921) who went to school at Victory Place SE17. Alice Missen had a sister Ginny. Ginny married a man named Frank and they had a daughter Beryl. Alice Missen died in February 1949. She probably had other siblings besides Ginny. If any of this rings a bell, please contact me on dave@jaundy.fsnet.co.uk. My tree is on www.genesreunited.co.uk which I will give access on request (many photos attached to my tree on that site).
Regards
David
