I am from the Joseph Daniel Mont and Elizabeth Dingle , but have never heard that Joseph Daniel had a first wife Elizabeth Jessie .
The line I am from is the William =Ann MacKintosh line
son William A. 1869-1904 married Margaret Catherine MacKenzie- 1868-1944-my Grandparents.

I am looking for information about Lillian Christine MONT who was born possibly around 1900 in Canada (New Brunswick?). Family information has that she was adopted. She married Cyril DURYEA about 1932, probably in NY. She and Cyril had one son George, b. 1933 on Long Island, NY.

Lillian died in 1937 on Long Island, in her home.

Names also associated with Lillian are: Frank WALKER, Howard WALKER, and "Bert" MONT.

Served as Sgt.in Royal Battalion Rifles and was on the field in Battle of Waterloo. Believes family came from Belfast, Ire. One son: William b. 1836 in Halifax, d. 1875 in Halifax, m. Ann MacKintosh, 5-11-1868 in Halifax. She was the dau. of William Mackintosh and Jessie.

I am looking for information on Evangeline Jeffery Mont who married Harold Gordon Salem Bridge, date unknown.
She was from Haliax, NS born 10/14/1914 and died in 5/8/1963.

Dear Mr. Howard: Reading your post, I noticed the name MACKINTOSH. My grn.mother, Maud Darragh, married William Cummings Mackintosh ca 1881. Son, James Cummings Mackintosh born 1882, daughter Jessie Jean Mackintosh born 1884 in San Francisco. With the similarity of names, is there a possible connection? I know only that William was born in NY state. I would appreciate any help you can give. Thank you.
