hello, our montelongo family comes from sabinas, coahuila,mexico. my father was manuel montelongo and so was his father. his mother was josefa vidoudi from france i believe. we were born and raised in nebraska and now reside in las vegas, nv and ventura, ca.

Iam a Montelongo because of my Mother Herlinda Montelongo.
My Grandfather was Francisco Montelongo Born in 1912 in Texas. Fransico pass away on December 31,1999 he had 12 sibblings. My greatgrandfather was Macario Montelongo I believe there were 12 brothers who immigrated from Spain some where in the 1800's They landed in the state of Texas. Our Family immigrated Cauhuila,Tamaluipas,Nuevo Leon. and throughtout the USA. We are a large ancestry. Look for Macario Montelongo a sibling my uncle a genius a well known chemist in Mexico and the USA.

WASHINGTON, Iowa - Dawn Eloisa Montelongo, 47, Washington, died Tuesday June 22, 2010, at the Washington County Hospital after failing in health for the past two years.

The Rev. Dennis Martin will officiate. A general memorial has been established.

Mrs. Montelongo was born on March 13, 1963, in Iowa City, the daughter of Donald and Grace Gertrude (Spencer) Mentria. She graduated from Muscatine High School. She married Manny Montelongo. She lived most of her life in Muscatine. She lived in West Liberty for 10 years before moving to Washington. She worked for Northrup King and did bartending. She enjoyed music.

She is survived by her sons, Mite Silva of Washington; Silvestre Garcia of Washington; and a sister, Lette Garcia of Grand Rapids, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Donna Mintrea Diaz; and a brother.

Hello my name is Alberto Sotelo Montelongo.My grandma Elidia MOntelongo Urena. My grandfathers name was Florencio Montelongo, but he died in 1981 in Atenquique Jalisco. my grandpa name is Armando Montelongo, and he is from La Soledad Durango. His sister lived in surrounding cities. He has family in Colorado, CA.

I know someone named Jose Guadalupe Montelongo here in Texas. Also he's 36 years old. He tells me that his mother is Mexican and his father is Greek. I think his mothers name is Rosemary.

He had 2 brothers name Vicente and Benito Montelongo. Vicente died in 1940, and Benito from San Jose Ca died in

My grandfather, Jose Montelongo was from Durango Mx. born approx.1908, his father was Valeriano Montelongo and his mother was Tiburcia Montelongo. Any info you may have is greatly appreciated. I am trying to connect with any family from this lineage

Sorry it's taken so long for me to respond. I do have a aunt whose name is Martha but she married into the family. She lives in Corpus Christi, TX. She should be in her 70's.. maybe 80's. My family ... or should I say.. immediate family originated in Laredo, TX. From there they either moved to Corpus Christi or Dallas. Do you know if you have family in Laredo?

Hi Monica- I was born in El Paso Texas, 1952. My mother was from Juarez her name is Maria Socorro Montelongo she came from a family of 16 children, parents were Jose & Edwiges Montelong. I can only recall an Aunt named Martha who at one time lived in Pico Rivera, Ca. and an Uncle Henry who lived in possibly Sacramento, Ca. Any of this sound familiar? Please reply.
