Jeanne Moulin, When did she die?

I have a Jeanne Moulin in my family tree, reportedly born in about 1510 and married in 1529 or 1530. She is listed as the mother of Guilliaume and Michelle. Guilliaume was born in 1540 while Michelle was born in 1536 (or 1545 or 1580.

The problem is that all of the links to her suggest that she died in 1530 which would make it very difficult for her to have birthed Guilliaume in 1540 and any of the Michelles. (Humor is acceptable in genaology, I hope).

Moulin family

I am looking for information on ancestors and descendants of Amos J. Moulin (my husband’s g-grandfather). Last week I received a copy of family group sheets starting with Nicholas Moulin (b. 1759), married to Marie Heidet-Moulin (b. Dec. 1, 1769 in Romagny, France). These were done by a Moulin who lives in Indiana, and were a big help in my research.

Marie and most of her children ended up living in Stark County, Ohio. I also live in Stark County and have been going to the library researching the Moulin family. I would be interested in sharing information with anyone else researching the same Moulin line.
Please email me at gmsturm@hotmail.com

I am no expert at this geneology stuff, however I find it very interesting and I have managed to put the experts on a good trail. Yes your names are in my family tree I show Pierre and Jeanne married and only show one child Michelle married to Aubin Navarre. The info. I have is very little this far out but it gets a whole lot better. I will add Guillaume. I show Michelle's child (1609) Mathurine married to David Feillard child Jacqueline (Feuillart) Feillard married Odoard (Audax) Lambert 1670. This goes on to present day. Please feel free to contact me and I will send any info. you would like. dev256@aol.com

I'm just relaxing and hope to enjoy a nice winter. I've still got the farm in KY with a house sitter there. I've left all my Geneology stuff in KY but I enjoyed getting the WAG newsletter from June Smeltzer and gave her Ford Moulin's name and address in Ore. He is Jesse's Grandson. Hope to hear from you soon. Liz Hood

Moulin

Hi Thom!

I am techinically an adopted Moulin, but
interested in family history none the less.
I am the great grandaughter of Charles Paul
Moulin and Elizabeth Shippert, I believe they
were married around Manhattan KS but I have not
found a marriage record yet.

There is a record in Marriages of Early Settlers
of Pottowatamie County Kansas that included the
marriage of Ferreol Moulin to Mlie (sic) Augusta
Bertrand in Paris France in 1846. Which I think
could be Charles Paul's parents. I do not have
any information about his siblings.

Charles Paul was born in Paris France, Aug 14, 1849

According to my grandmother, he came by boat
to America when he was 4.

Charles Paul - Elizabeth Schippert children:

Frederick Ferreio - May 22, 1886 - 1982
Charles Paul June 21, 1887 - May 23, 1908
Martin Herbert Oct 31, 1888 - 1975
Helena Augusta Oct 15, 1890 - Dec 14, 1980
Francis Cleveland Oct 26, 1982
Leo Oscar May 3, 1895
Joseph Archie Aug 31, 1898

Martin Herbert is my grandfather who was born
in Manhattan KS.

Even though Ferreol Moulin was listed in the
Marriages, the name Moulin is NOT included in
the book of Pioneers of the Blue Stem Prairie
but Moline is. When we went to Chandler OK
as a child, where many of my relatives lived,
they always pronouced our last name Mo leen, so
I wonder if Ferreol changed the spelling for
pronounciation purposes? However we spell it
Moulin.

My father Andrew D. Moulin is on your list,
he is the youngest child of Martin Herbert.

If anyone is out there and knows anything of
the Ferreol Moulin line or siblings of
Charles Paul Moulin, please email me. I don't
have any information farther back.

Thank you Thom for your site!

Lori Martin
