Seeking information on Mary J. Mullett, b. 15 Aug 1842 in Wexford (or possibly Waterford) county, Ireland. d. 2 Feb 1910 in Massachusetts. Married Thomas Hanifin 5 Nov 1869 in Springfield, MA. Sister of John W Mullett, daughter of Michael Mullett and Ellen Ross or Rossater. Specifically, I'm looking for more information on Mary's birth, her brother, parents, and any other siblings she may have. Her brother arrived in NYC in 1866, but I cannot find out if Mary was with him. I have her obituary.

He lived for many years in Posey Co IN, marrying 3 times, and died at his son's house in Webb City, MO. I am seeking info on his father. Thanks for the info it was a big help although i do have a query are you sure John Mullett married Sarah Harrowpath only i was looking on the familysearch site and found a Pedigree Resource File with all the parents names on that you gave me but having John Mullett married to Sarah Adams. I also found the marriage of these two it was 21 July 1816 in Laverton,Somerset,England.
Hope you can help with this.
I found out that Gabriel Mullett was actually my g-g-g-grandad and when i have done some more digging on my branches i will send you some information but it may take a while. I have not found a Thomas Mullett yet though.

I don't have much information on any of the Mulletts that didn't pick Australia though.
I would like to fill out some of the other branches of the tree, so if you want to add anything to this collection, just send it to me. Not much spare time these days, but I'll get to it.

I always wanted to find out about Thomas Mullett who died in about June 1919. I have some good photos that might interest his descendants.

I decided to go ahead and order a copy of the death certificate for this James R. Mullett who died in Chicago on September 23, 1923. The record shows that he was born in Adelaide, South Australia on October 24, 1838. He was a retired Sea Captain. The information for his father and mother is listed as "Unknown". Based on the above information this James R. Mullett is not any one that I am looking for.

Glad to help, Mary Ellen. One point, my guest is the address was 2828 W. Taylor Street. Have you gotten your hands on his 1912 death certificate. It might list the birthplace of his parents, or even his birthplace.

I know this is a long shot but I wanted to find more about James Mullett in Chicago.
I believe he is the son of Michael Mullett and Bridget O'Rourke, but can't prove it yet.
His Obit 1912 lists his late wife Ann Collins, his children Thomas E., James, Mrs. T. Martin (Jane) and the late John and Michael Mullett. He lived at 2828 W. Taylon Street, funeral mass at Our Lady of Sorrow Church,buried in Mount Carmel.
Burial record at Mt. Carmel=12-9-1912 age 75:
Anna died 11-15-1907, age 51 (Sect. D -10-N38 Grave 1&2)
1880 Chicago Census: James 39, Anne 26, Michael 5, Thomas 4, John 2, James 3/12.
1910 Chicago Census, James 72, Thomas Martin 27, Jane Martin 27, Marie Martin 3, Thomas Martin 1+5/12, Annie 2.
1920 Chicago Census, Jane Martin 37, Marie, Thomas, Anna, James, Margaret, James Mullett 39, John Mullett 7.
1930 Chicago Census, Jane Martin 47, James, Margaret, and John Mallett 17.
Does anyone know where James Martin is today, he would be 97 now.

I have a picture of Bertha and her husband David. (I'm pretty sure it is David) Any way, Bertha was my great grand mother. She died on a bus traveling from niles to New Philidelphia to visit her sister. She had a heart attach and it took a few days for family to figure it out. Her sons were Raulph, David, Norman, Clifford, Charles, Harry, and my grandfather Alfred. No girls. My grand father was an awesome person and I love talking about him and his brothers. They were a great bunch and drove my grand mother Bertha crazy, my mom says. Write if you want to.

I am a part of the mullett family in Kentucky. I have read some posts that interested me and I was wondering if any one of you was related to me in some way. I am not sure who my great grandfather was.I only have a description of him from my grandmother.She said he had long black hair,like an indian,and dark eyes that were almost black.This is the man from whom I am supposed to have gotten my hair color and eye color.
My grandfathers name is Calvin Mullett.He was married to Hester Bowins.She passed away in 2000 or 2001.I cannot remember.I have many uncles and aunts.My fathers name is Roosevelt Mullett.If anyone can help, I would be very grateful.

I had an Aunt Carrie Mullett. She was from Newfoundland and lived some of her life in Brooklyn New York. Are we talking about the same person? Most of the Mulletts that I am related to are from Newfoundland- wesleyville and St. john's area. My mother was a Mullett.

William (son) went on to marry Esther Dodge on 24.1.1810 (he was a tailor) and one of their sons, George baptised 11.11.1814 Shaftesbury, married Anne Ransbury and then lived in Lambeth, London.
