It would HOOKS not hooker I am a decendent from that family as well. You might find my tree on ancestry.com under Hooks. I am not sure what information I have for Mary what I have would of been off Ancestry.com

I forgot add that Mary E Hooks Mundon was born on 3/18/1945 and died 5/19/1915

796. Hosea T. (Hoad Mundon) MUNDON was born on 11 Dec 1840 in Mifflin, Iowa Co., Wisconsin. He died on 4 Jan 1922 in Mifflin, Iowa Co., Wisconsin.
Hosea was born 11 December 1840 in Mifflin, Wisconsin, and died 4 January 1922. He married Mary Elizabeth Hooks, daughter of E. and Harriet Hooks, on 16 December 1866. She was born circa 1845 and died May 1915.

There were three children born of the marriage.

Hosea T. (Hoad Mundon) MUNDON and Mary Elizabeth HOOKS were married on 16 Dec 1866 in Wisconsin. Mary Elizabeth HOOKS (daughter of E. HOOKS and Harriet ???) was born about 1845. She died in May 1915 in Mifflin, Iowa Co., WI. Hosea T. (Hoad Mundon) MUNDON and Mary Elizabeth HOOKS had the following children:

I'm a descendent of Hosea T. Mundon. You may already have the same information but I know that Mary Elizabeth Hooks was married on 12/16/1866 it could have been 1868, in the state of Wisconsin. They had 3 children:

William Frederick
Hosea Elijah

I dont know if this is the same family but I am searching for information on a Selina Mundin/Mundon born c1868 to parent John Mundin and Elizabeth, she was born I think in Roydon in Essex and married a William Brace born c 1867 also from Roydon.

Would you know if this is the same family

Seeking all descandents of Robert Mundon, wife Anna Madeline who lived on Madison St in Baltimore City, MD, 1910--1930's. Four daughters: Myrtle, Anna (married Herman Chasen), Eloise and Alberta. Robert came to Baltimore from Dallas TX and had two sisters, Elizabeth and Myrtle (married a ? Greene).

Frederick Mundon - IL, MO, TX - 1850+

Searching for parents and descendants of Frederick Mundon, enumerated as Friedrich Mundon in Portage des Sioux, St Charles, MO 1870 census as 20 yr old farm hand from Illinois.

Frederick married Malinda Ellen Lewis in Portage in 1874. The marriage license gives his name as Frederick Munday. They had at least two children: Elizabeth (b. 1875 MO) and Robert C (b. 1877 TX).

Enumerated in Calvert, Robertson Co, TX in 1880, giving both parents birthplace in Illinois. In the 1890's Frederick and Robert Mundon show up in the Dallas, TX city directories as carpenters in the 1880's & 90's, but are gone prior to 1900.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I see that you think you may have a link. The Mary I am talking about was born in March 26, 1845 in Belmont Wisconsin. Let me know if this fits or not with you.

I'm looking for information on James Madison Mundon b. 16 Mar 1859 in Promise City, Wayne County, Iowa. Father killed in Civil War, then his mother got sick and died. All 13 of the children were placed in an Soldier's Home (orphanage) in St. Louis. Wife's name Francis Jane Fordyce b. 1 Mar 1865 in Putnam County, Missouri. Does this line up with anyone?
