I am trying to find details of my mother's family. There were so many of them I am sure there must be someone out there that can help. Does anyone out there have any info on a Murray family from Renfrew. James and his wife Elizabeth were both born Edinburgh c1842 they moved to Renfrew and the children Elizabeth, David, Hellen, Jessie, Isabella, Janet, Margaret, John and James all lived in Renfrew. David was a baillie in Renfrew circa 1908-1915. He was a batchelor and lived with Meg (Margaret) his spinster sister. Jessie married a Robert Henderson and Elizabeth died in her 20's still single. I have no information on the rest of the family. The middle name of Swanston was given to some of the children and Lees/Leas to some of them.

I may have found James and Elizabeth in 1881 in 60 Fulbar Street, Renfrew but with one extra son you did not mention if they are the right ones.
