I have started researching my family who originated in Scotland. All I have is that my ggfather was John Murray - house painter who married Ann McGregor in Cullen on 29/12/1893. My grandfather was born in 1898. I have no idea if he had any siblings as he immigrated to South AFrica as a young man. I am the last in the family line and would love to trace my Scottish ancestors. Any help would be appreciated
