I am researching the young men from our village of
Eastham, Wirral,
UK who died in WW1 and one of them was Walter Scott
Murray. He was a pilot at the nearby
Hooton Airfield, was killed in an accident on May 27th 1918 and is buried in the churchyard here. His father was James W
Murray of Brooklawn, Gloucester,
New Jersey.
Does anyone have any information about Clarence and his family that they would be willing to share with me?
He was serving with Training
Depot no 4 and was posted to
Hooton.
Any information would be appreciated and in particular any photographs of Walter.
Thanks
Tracey
