Does anyone know why Richard Myrick (~1807 NC - ~1875 GA) of Twiggs Co., Georgia was named as the guardian for these Evans children?

I don't know if the Richard Myrick you are talking about is the same one I am looking for or not.

Do you know anything about Richard Myrick (~1807 NC - ~1875 GA) of Twiggs Co., Georgia? I think he was married twice. His second wife was Narcissa Blackshear. I don't know the name of his first wife but I think he had a son named Rufus Myrick from that marriage. He had 4 children with Narcissa Blackshear.

Frances Myrick b: 1857
Thomas Myrick b: 1863
John Myrick b: 1866
Henry Myrick b: 1870

My grandfather name was Harvey Myrick. He was born in Statesborough, GA. Myrick is his fathers name.

Who is the Myrick you or your husband..if he was born 1921 your myrick or another Myrick ? cause you guys cant be that old :-)there were 5 Myricks I think from Samuel.See if I can remember there names James Simpson born 1853 in Ohio died in Oregon John Webster Myrick 1856 in Ohio Benjamin Franklin born Ohio Alfred Perry born 1865 Ida Bell died in Oregon thank you..okay i reread what you said so it was one of there sons so I have that but will take abit thank you

I live i eastern oregon and my line does come from Wales from brother Jame one of the brothes and works its way through some of the names in your information to Freeman Myrick in Ohio then Samuel Myrick one of his sons came to Eastern Oregon in 1887 thank you

Its kind of interesting. I found a great grandson Of Benjamin Franlin . which is kinda of neat that we now have family of three of the siblings Samuel I will keep you posred

Does anyone have any info on Martha Ann Myrick, the wife of Thomas Simmons? She was born in 1824 and died in 1889. She was married to Thomas Simmons in 1840. I am trying to find out who her parents, siblings and ancestors are. She was from the Southampton, VA area. Thanks!

I heard my family was from Warrior, Alabama and my great grandfather William James Myrick was born in Alabama in 1878.

Does anyone possibly have any further information on this family?

because Iam a novice..It makes me wonder how for example there are so many (again this a example)with the same name such as Benjamin Franklin scattered through out the Myrick line..even though it would be a very far stretch to believe that they good possibly connect..So far I havent run into that many B.Myrick there seem to be a lot of James and Andrews and Freemans..Ida and Samuels we will keep kicken this around bye for now

My Freeman from Ohio had several children my Samuel was a son and

My Freeman did have Samual Ida Jesse and several otheres think but not sure that Freemans father was James

Ida Viola (or Polly as I knew her) was a big part of my life. I used to take the bus into Los Angeles from Pasadena, Ca. to see her when I was little. She lived at the Biltmore Hotel until she was knocked down by a man and broke her hip. She always had jelly beans on the table for me. She never talked about her family...that's why I'm curious what happened. She died peacefully in 1967 at home while getting dressed for the morning. She was very proper and tiny.

I have been off for awhile so not sure we still have the same address ..but my Myrick line also came from brother James..and I can trace my line back to the brothers..but Samuel son of Freeman(who lived in Ohio)came to Oregon where I live today..thank you
