Patrick Nelly was born in 1870 to Tim Nelly and Bridget Shea of Ballyaneen, Gort, Co. galway. Parish of Kiltartan. Siblings: John, Delia, Tim, Maria, Bridget, James, Thomas, Ellen and Michael. He emigrated in 1910 to his brother Michael, 16 Pierpoint St., Bridgeport, Ct.
