Finally; it's hard to find the message boards now ...

I sent you a message the other day about Augustin and Lillian; also, I found their marriage info online: as I suspected, their were married in Indiana, just miles from Fort Wayne where I should suspect there may possibly be some kind of museum or collection devoted to Milt Barlow and his family.

Neuville Family of Door County Wisconsin - Marie Joseph Neuville, nee Delsaux, emigrated Belgium 1856

My ancestor Marie Joseph Neuville, nee Delsaux, emigrated from Belgium 1n 1856 with her six living children. In 1860 she purchased 120 acres in Door County.

There seems to have been a number of Belgium families that came to Wisconsin about this same time. The following was copied from the history of Aische-en-Refail http://www.eghezee.org/patr/aiinf.htm

"En 1855, 95 habitants d'Aische, un dixième de la population, émigrèrent aux Etats-Unis, à Green-Bay, dans le Wisconsin."

If you or someone you know is related to this family, please contact me.

Thank you

Ron hager

Re: August Julian Neuville - born in Gardner, Wisconsin

Hi Jeanine

August was born in Gardner, Wisconsin. However, his father Henri was born in Belgium. See the following for greater detail -

http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&...

Many Neuville family remain in Belgium and it is possible that we are related. Please let me know your husband's lineage - as many individuals & as much data as possible - and I will try to see if we are related. A report or a GEDCOM file will both work for me.

Also, I have a Leon Rose that married my 1st cousin Charlotte Theressa Neuville. They lived in Michigan. I do not know anything about his lineage. Do you happen to be connected to him?

If we are related I can share my data with you if you want.

Ron

Thanks for the research info. I can trace our lineage from Gislain Joseph (6/13/1805) and Marie Delsaux (10/30/1807) through Julian Joseph (5/7/1842) and Philomene Brice (6/1860) and then through Louis Neville and Josephine Brice (1st cousins, according to my family sources), and then through Alden Neville and Genevieve Thorpe (my grandparents). My family is from Green Bay, WI (Go Packers) and we now live in California...Thanks again.

Looking for descendents of Ernest or Joseph Neville (Neuville) who moved to Minnesota from Gardner, Door Co., WI. Obituary of my G.G. Grandfather John Baptiste Neville who died in Stephenson, (Lake Township) MI states his brother Ernest Neville lived in Proctor, Minnesota and a picture of Joseph I have shows Minneapolis as location where picture was took so I presume Joseph also lived somewhere in Minnesota. I have old family pictures of Ernest & Joseph Neville's family which I would be happy to share, but do not have much family history on them.
Cathy Popour
