Looking for any descendants of Richard Blake Newton Lambeth, London, England 1801 to Richard Newton and Sarah Whiffin. Also know as Richard Black Newton. Richard emigrated to Argentina in 1819, married Maria de los Santos Vasquez and they had 15 children. He was very significant in introducing fencing to the ranches of the Chascomus region in Argentina. Any descendants please email or post a reply.

Soy Jorge Guillermo Newton vengo a ser bis nieto de Candido Newton y Eva Moreno, mi abuelo era Guillermo Newton casado con Amelia Urrutia y Mi padre Jorge Guillermo. Vivimos en Colonia y Conchillas en donde tenemos el campo y el casco de la estancia Vasta Vista que pertenecio a Enrique Newton cuando vino a Uruguay. My name is Gonzalo Avendaño Firpo, descendant or Richard Newton. I live in the US but I grew up in Argentina and there I shall end, like all my relatives that are no longer here. The place is beautiful (the chapel needs to be redone) and it is call British Cementery of Chascomus. My grandmother was Cora Dale Newton, I cannot remember the exact names of how we are Mr. Newtons desendants, I have annotations at home, but all I can say is that he was very important for our family, admired and respected.
Once, I try to prove which links were between him and Sir Isacc Newton and I am almost sure that our Richard was the grandson of one of Sir Isaac's brothers. His name was Richard also, as Sir Isasc's father. Also, the second name, Blake, is present in all Sir Isaacs Newton Family. I am a great admirer of Sir Isacc Neewton and we share the same birthdate. Well, If you are looking to find Richard Newtond desendants, I know several ones and know his story preaty well. Introducing the wire fencing was one of several think that we did.

Happy to meet a fellow RBN descendant! I, too, live in the US, but I was born here. Both of my parents were born in Argentina and moved to the US back in the 1950's. Richard Blake Newton would be my Great Great Grandfather. My family are descendants of RBN's oldest son Richard Newton.
The information you provided regarding Sir Isaac Newton is very interesting and something I was not aware of.
