This may be a long shot, but my mother has been trying to trace her grandfather Nino who lived in Beaminster, Dorset, England for a while and in and around 1901. He had a child by Edith Elliott in 1903, and Arthur Edward Elliot was born. We believe he was born in Mauritius.
We dont know Nino's age but estimate that he must have been about 18 in 1903 so he would have been born around 1885.
If you have any Nino's that lived in the area around that time we would be VERY interested in hearing from you.
Tor Clark (torclark@hotmail.com)

Fidele Nino is in my family tree. This name goes back as far as 1751 in Piane Grati Italy. I don't know which brother this would be from but I would venture a guess at Carmine or Francisco. Would need more information. Also there is a Fidele Nino still living in Piane Grati today.
Gail

Nino family from Texas

I am looking for any info about Mary (or Maria) Nino, born in 1919. She had brothers and sisters, all living in the Los Angeles area. She had 4 children, 3 sons, Robert, Ernie, and Jose and a daughter Gloria. The boys were born in 1938?, 1940, and 1942 respectively. Gloria was born in 1945. Their last name was Jaramillo. Their father was Jose Jaramillo. I believe the oldest son Robert was from another father, as his birth certificate list his last name as Martinez.
If any one has any information please contact me. I have a very curious child who would like some info regarding her heritage. Thank You.

Miguel (Mike) Nino, brother to Remedios

I am the oldest son of Ramon Jorge Hernandez and Angela Acosta, who was the daughter of Remedios Acosta (Nino). I am trying to locate the family of my uncle Mike (Miguel) Nino. My grandmother (Remedios Nino, sister to Mike Nino) passed away in 1968 in Detroit Michigan. As a child, my father and I visited uncle Mike and his family in San Antonio Texas (1959?), at that time I feel that he may have been in his late 40s to mid 50s, in our family Uncle Mike's artistic talents were legendary. I seem to remember that he had daughters but I cannot recall their names nor the name of his wife. I am trying to piece together as much of our family history as possible. Any info would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks
Ramon Jose Hernandez
