Noah family in the Netherlands

I come from Holland and I'm the daughter of Margaretha Paulina Noah (1935-1996) from Amsterdam. In all the archives on the internet I found information about my grandfather, Adolf Noah, and the names of his brothers and sisters.
I found names and dates of my great grandfather and of my great, great grandfather. The oldest in the tree is Fredericus Adolphus Noah. Except for him, who was born in Lippe, Germany, the rest of them were born in Amstelveen or Amsterdam.
But somehow it stops there. No information to be found.
What I do find is a lot of "Noah's" outside the Netherlands. So I hope that someone has the information that can link to mine. Every help is appreciated.

Judith Bakker

I am a descendant through their son, John Storey Noah. John Storey Noah was born 20 Oct 1799 in Kennett, Chester, Pennsylvania, United States. He died in 1855 in Mentor, Lake, Ohio, United States. John Storey Noah was married to Cynthia Daniels. Their son, John Sidney Noah, was my great-great grandfather. John Sidney Noah was born in Ohio and died in Marlin Falls, Texas. His son, Oscar Edward Noah, was my great grandfather. Oscar lived in Erath County, Texas. Oscar's son, Neal James Noah, was my grandfather and lived in Breckenridge, Texas. Neal James Noah, Jr. was my father who also lived in Breckenridge, Texas. I hope this helps and you will be able to give me some information that I am missing further up the line.

Thank you. I am anxiously awaiting your reply.

Can you tell me to where in the U.S. you traced your lineage to him and Elizabeth Schmidt? I haven't looked at my research in some time for details, but tell me more, maybe I have something for you, and maybe you've a connection I wasn't able to find when I was actively but unsuccessfully searching for my great grandfather F.L. Noah's parentage.
I too have seen conjecture of the Hebrew version of Noah, but haven't proved or disproved to date.

Gerald~~Don't know who Angie is, but your post came to me. Have been inactive in my research for a few years, need to get back to reorganize and continue. Could be that others have more info than I by now. The Noah line I've concentrated on seem also to have originated from Germany. According to info I've accepted, Peter Noa was born 1710 in Germany. Then Pennsylvania, then, N. Carolina, S. Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, and spread from three brothers from those locations. I never got leads to Oregon, but there were some to Oklahoma and Texas that I haven't followed. Contact me by email dburkholz@gmail.com, so I can be more specific, if you're interested.

Noahs at Kinsey Cemetery, Butler Cnty MO

I appreciate the photos that have been sent showing burial sites in various cemeteries. Thank you.
Relative to that, I also obtained images of the burial sites of my g-grandfather, F.L. Noah, g-grandmother Mary E. Stout, and grandfather James Edward Noah at the above subject Cemetery a few years ago. Will provide them soon.
Meanwhile, I have a question for anyone willing to respond:
I wrote a letter to one of the individuals listed as contacts on the signboard of the Kinsey Cemetery some years ago, after my visit there (near Harviell), but received no response. My mission at the time was to find out if any more gravesites are available.
Since then, I have realized that I should have examined neigboring grave markers for additional family links. Now I would like to obtain a list of individuals buried there. I believe there might be Stouts, Spoons and more direct ancestors there. Anyone have a suggestion on how to do that, considering the fact that I received no response to my initial letter?
