There is a William Ockendon, born abt 1793 in Great Burstead, Essex appearing on the 1851 Census with his wife, Sarah, living in Basildon.

There is another one, born abt 1791 that died in 1866 in Billericay, Essex.

I would like to hear from the descendants (or from anyone who knows of them) of Benjamin Ockenden who married my g-g aunt Harriet Mawle in the 1840`s. They were married in Bexhill and in 1871 they were living in Brede, Sussex. In 1881 they were living in Canterbury, Kent. Many thanks.
