Silas was born in Washington Territory about May 1853 (conficting dates of birth) and married Lilian Kamano a woman of Hawaiian Ancestry who was born in Alert Bay Canada. Her father was George Michael Kahoomanu changed and shortened to Kamano. He was born In North Kohala on the big Island of Hawaii the namesake Island of our beautiful state. We have found his original ancestors here and have this Hawaiian genealogy ready for anyone who is interested in registering with the Office of Hawaiian affairs.
