Mi abuelo se llamaba Diódoro Ornelas Guerrero, nació en 1890, murió en 1963, sus padres: Nicolás Ornelas y Paula Guerrero. Es todo lo que se, me gustaría averiguar más sobre sus hermanos, tíos.... etc. parte de su familia está en México, otra en USA.

Hi, my grandfather's name was Salvador Ornelas, I believe originally from Michoacan, and lived in Berkeley, CA. Would this be the same Salvador as your family?

My maternal grandmothers name was Nieves Ornelas who also bore a half sister (Faustina Rodriguez)to my mother and two brothers, Jesus Ornelas and Clemente Ornelas. Angela & Trinidad are pictured in the 1934 Flowsheet, yearbook of Texas College of Mines and Metallurgy (now UTEP) in El Paso, Texas. Angela is a senior and Trinidad a sophomore. I'm not kin but thought this might help someone researching the family.

Thanks for the reply Robert but these names do not sound familiar. I can trace my great grandfather coming from Mexico at around 1911 or so and settling in Mesilla, New Mexico. They are also related to the Limon family in Mesilla....cousins I believe. But thanks for getting back to me.

My mother (Herminia Ornelas) is from El Paso,TX. Her mother Antonia Ornelas is from New Mexico. Exactly where in New Mexico I'm not sure. Hope this helps.

my grandfather was luis ornelas grandmother was porfiria lozano they were from san juan de los lagos, jalisco mx. my grandpa had just one brother his name was mario ornelas and my father said he lived in california dont know what city.
