Hi my maiden name is Monica Oropeza. Yes there are 2 towns Oropesa in Spain. One on the east coast and the other close to Toledo. I have been to both. I have a large family tree (connected to over 45 million entries). We are decendants from the town Oropeza in Spain (the one close to Toledo). Francisco Alvarez de Toledo Pacheco (son of Count and Countess of Oropeza) is the Spanish conquistador that traveled to Peru and Bolivia, and founded many cities. Some of the Oropezas went to Mexico and others went to South America fro Spain. My family is from Bolivia and many of us now live in the US. Email me and we can compare relatives.

Hello,

My name is Isac James Pacheco Jr. I've been told that ALL Pacheco's originally came from Puebla. I've yet to confirm this, but I was wondering if in your research, you've come across any Pacheco's?

My grandparents migrated to the U.S. around 1910, entering Texas through Laredo and eventually settling in Fort Worth, Texas where they raised 11 children.

My grandfather Fernando Pacheco (1885-1973) was born in Tanchicuin, Veracruz (near Panuco) and his father Domingo Pacheco is where the trail starts to cool off. No records yet on Fernando, Domingo or Domingo's wife Francesca Gomes(z).

Could you please help? I would appreciate it very much and I would be willing to assist you in any way I can.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Sincerely,

Isac James Pacheco Jr.
Hi, we are not from the same Oropezas, but our Uncles are GREAT FRIENDS and they even used to called my grandma Aunt. You must be related to Ruben Oropeza, Victor Manuel "El Gordo" and Miguel Oropeza? I am also related to Veronica, Ligia and Ramiro Magaña Oropeza, but from the Magaña side. My aunt Maria Elena is from the same Oropeza's as the above. Her husband is my mothers brother. I was in Newman in May and got a chance to visit with Ruben, he is very good friend with my husband, we had not seen each others for like 18 yrs...WOW...since we graduated from High School in Tangas.

Hi, my name is Lupe Oropeza Magaña and I was born in Tangancicuaro, raised in California. There are 4 Families in Tangancicuaro with the last name Oropeza. The Oropeza's that live by "Las Tardes De Mayo" Casa TERE OROPEZA, Oropeza's from El Valle De Guadalupe that live by "El Santuario O El Puente", "Los Cocula" Oropeza from El Cerrito close to "El Rastro". And us from la Colonia Cupatziro. My Great Grandfather was Agustin Oropeza he married Lupe Zamora and the had 3 sons and 1 daughter. We are related to the Melgoza Oropeza's, Oropeza Chavez, One son migrated to USA and he got lost never heard from him. The family Oropeza Chavez moved to Guadalajara, but La tia Graciela Oropeza de Acevedo moved back to Tangancicuaro, she has a Jewelry Store just before you get to the plaza. The other son was our Grandfather Encarnacion Oropeza Zamora and his side of the family resides in USA with the exception of El Arquitecto Jose Luis Oropeza Lopez also
known by PEPE. I am the oldest female of the 4th. I have a have a family tree from another branch Madrigal. We come from the Branch of Luisa Madrigal she was the mother in law of Agustin Oropeza.

My father's name is Francisco Javier Oropeza, born January 26, 1932 in Ocotlan, Jalisco, Mx. His father's name was Jesus Oropeza from Rio Verde area of Jalisco, Mx. My great grandfather had 5 children, my father the oldest, Oswaldo Oropeza, Oscar Oropeza, Manuel Oropeza, and Socorro Oropeza. According to my father, my great grandfather was in some shootout with the Perez family when my grandfather was a child, in the Rio Verde area, to which my grandfather fled and subsequently lived in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mx. My grandfather has also lived in Southern California working on some horse ranch in Santa Ana. He also work the railroad systems in Chicago, I think back in the 1930's.
