      <description>Searching for the ORPHAN family. Joseph William ORPHAN, born in Newport, Wales, in 1864. Died in 1932 in Pueblo, Pueblo County, Colorado. His parents were Richard ORPHAN and Mary CASLETT. Married to Margaret Isabel McAFEE, born in Illinois in 1877 and died in 1948 in Pueblo, Colorado. Her father was Robert McAFEE, born February 14, 1818, in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, and died February 19, 1909, in Coulterville, Randolph County, Illinois. Her mother was Isabel NIMOCK (STEELE), born in Illinois in March, 1815 and died 1903. Robert and Isabel appear to be living in Elkhorn, Washington County, Illinois, during the 1880 Census.</description>

      <description>Hi Lee, my gggrandfather Josiah Alphin is listed as Josiah Orphan on his wedding license. My Alphins were from NC then moved to Randolph Co, Ark where there are still descendants. Have you come across any different spellings of your Orphan name?</description>
