my great great great great aunt Matilda Jane MCCLANE was the great grand mother of Wison Brown. I have a note in my files states William D. Osborn born abt. 1867 in Tn and Altha PATTERSON born abt. 1875 Bloomfield Stoddard Missouri, Death: 08 Dec 1918 may be the parents of Grace. By looking at the birth dates now, could be grand parents.
He had quite a few brothers and sisters, Enlisted in the Army 24 Jan 1944, married Roberta Parker LEMMON in 1952. I see that it may be more likely that he was born 21 August 1916 (rather than 1917) in Idaho.

My name is Laura, I am at a stumbling block. Isaac Osborn moved to the Butler County, MO area, it appears from the census date his family was located in Indiana. His brother was named Alfred.

Isaac was married to a Rose or Rosa (that is what my mother remembers). They had two children. Something must have happened because he married a Lucy Franklin. They only had one child. They are listed on the Chalk Bluff, AR 1900 census but he married a Daisy Stroud around 1903.

We are searching for Lucy and her family. Isaac & Daisy are both buried at the Qulin Cemetery in Butler County.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Laura (Q)
