I am looking for any information on Hyman Oxman. He was married to Minnie Oxman and came over here during the Russian Revolution and were sponsored by Fannie Oxman. The only information that I have seen so far is at Ellis Island, but they do not have it listed on their web site yet.

My gradfather's name was Hyman Oxman. He was married to Elcy Ritea. His parents were Samuel and Rose Oxman. Is it possible this is the same man?

I don't have too much information, but I have some. Perhaps we can pool resources since I'm probably looking for the same pair. Chajem Oxman left Liverpool Jan 27th 1904 and arrived Philadelphia Feb 10, 1904 on the SS Westernland. His stated purpose was to join his brother Elmer Ochsman in Philly. Mindel Oksman Left Liverpool Sep 28, 1904 arriving Philly Oct 8, 1904 on the SS Haverford. Her stated purpose was to join her husband. Both had children with them on the voyage and the address they were going to 734 Spring Garden, Philly, PA was the same. I believe these two were my Wife's great grandparents. They resided in Union, NJ until at least 1920. Please contact me if this is your line or you have further information.
