Mary Gladys Paige dau Judson and Ella

I am looking for information on Mary Gladys Paige born around 1902 in Brooklyn, NY. She was my Gr.Grandmother and I was told she died when my father was around 2 years old, so 1947. I was told stories about how Mary Gladys's family essentially disowned her when she married my grandfather, so I do not have much information on her or that portion of the family. iI's been a real hunt.

I have some info from relatives that Mary Gladys Paige married Frank D Bowman, had 2 children, then divorced and married my Grandfather. I found an article about her divorce from Frank Bowman, which places her 1st marriage on 4 May 1922 and divorce filed on 27 Mar 1933. I was told she married my Grandfather, Frederick Grambs, on 24 Feb 1937.

Based on census records and some stories I have gathered, Mary Gladys took one son with her when she moved away from Frank Bowman and lived with her parents. The 1930 Census shows her living in Brooklyn with her parents Judson H and Ella M Paige with her son Joseph Bowman and siblings Doris E and Harold E along with a son-in-law Jerome Paige and 2 other grandchildren.

I have not been able to locate birth or death records for Mary Gladys yet and I found the 1910 census shows Judson C instead of Judson H, but all other family members match names and estimated birth years.

Paula-my grandmother was Edwin Paige's sister Amanda. I have just started researching the family background and apparently the German name was Petsh. I'm guessing some clerk did not know how to spell it hence Patch. Apparently Hermann C changed it to Paige as that is the name all his children had.

this may not be much but is a coincident. my husbands mother was letha wanda stiglets but her mother was clara page but in 1925 clara married a john smith. i have a picture of clara and wanda and on the back the name of mary saucier and her mother clara bellais. which clara married a arthur bellais in 1929. wanda was sometimes called mary. there is more....

Julie contacted me. Herbert Edwin was my grandfather.
I had no idea he lived or worked in Gananoque and unfortunately have no information about what happened to his studio when he left. Very regrettably, we don't have anything from his Toronto studio either. I'd love to know more.

I just heard from Herberts grandson. He & his sister are the only surviving grandchildren, and the old pictures were not kept. I guess we can put this issue to rest now.

I just saw this message I would be most interested. It seems my great Grandmother was a Paige who married a Crawford. I have found she was married before that though. Her previous married Surname was Swett. I think I also have found her mother Carrie/Caroline Page/Paige but no father listed. My Mother's mother Was Blanche Hazel Crawford before she married my grandfather McNash. Her Father was Elmer S. Crawford born in Detroit,Wayne,Michigan, USA on 1 May 1862 and he Married Estelle Paige (Swett, she was married before she married Elmer) they married 9 Feb 1893 in Saginaw,Saginaw, Michigan, USA. I have a photograph by H E Paige, of a woman I think might be my great-grandmother, Florence (Flora sometimes) Ruth Bell who married Eli George Cosh, a tailor in Gananoque. They had two kids, Rex and Winona. ... It would be wonderful if someone had some knowledge of any of these people!

She worked at Wick Motor Inn and was an Avon Representative for many years.

Mrs. Javey was a member of the Union Baptist Church.

Her husband, Robert Javey, died in 1963.

She leaves her children, Earline (Robert) Gerhardt and Cecil Javey, all of Cincinnati, Ohio, Gayle Thomas Taylor of Lexington, Ky., Barbara Thomas and Robert Javey, both of Cleveland, Ohio and Mary A. Cooper of Youngstown; a sister, Mildred Patterson of Cincinnati; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Earl Thomas and George Javey; and a daughter, Yvonne Sims.

Viewing will be from noon to 4 p.m. today and friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the funeral home.

George Ralph Paige (born 11/25/1878) was the son on John (born 3/2/18510 and Annie Ralph Paige (born abt.1851). He had 4 brothers - Jim, Frank, Ned, & Charles and 3 sisters - Annie, Veronica & Mary). His first wife was Mable Kimball and they had seven children. He remarried my grandmother Gladys Carter and they had 8 children.

William F Paige doeb Feb 8 1912 in Charlestown Ma died June 27 1963 in Boston Ma. m Mary Ann McDeVitt dob Sept 4 1914 in Woburn Ma She died in Woburn Ma on July 9 1982 or 87.
They married on Oc 14 1935 in Winchester Ma.
Wiliam's parents were William Frances Piage and Ellen Sanfield.
Their children were:
Patricia Paige
William Frances Paige 2nd
Robert Allen Paige
G Jean Paige
Kathleen Elizabeth Paige
Diane Louise Paige
Daniel Thomas Paige
Just guessing but I'd say they probably were born in the
Woburn/Winchester Ma area.
I'd like to know (1) who were William sibblings, did they marry, have children.
Did any of the children marry, if so to whom, where and when. and Where and when were they each born.

I have information on McDaid/McDevitts but other than the above nothing on the Paige family. Please help if you can.

My father's name is Richard Lee (Jacksonville, Florida born Dec. 12, 1923.) and he believes that he has a son named Robert Paige and he has been looking for him for a very long time. My father is going to be 87 years old this year and wanted to see Robert before he died. I don't know too much about him except that he lived around Miami/Hialeah Florida.

We are AfricanAmerican descendants of Pages in Tuscaloosa,Al.
Our great,great grandfather and grandmother were born in Virginia in 1821 and were sold to a family in Alabama around
1840-50. They were Ellen and Solomon.
