El apellido de mi marido es Palencia. Se nacio en Girardot, Colombia. Su padre se nacio en Fusugasuga. La familia eran cafeteros, originalmente llegando de Espana a Argentina.

hello, my surname is Palencia and I was born in the Republic of the Philippines. My parents hometown is Pasi,Ilo-Ilo. One of the town in Visayas region. My Grandfather's name was Celestino Palencia Sr. I never met him since he died long before I was born. Also I never met my father's siblings coz they already migrated to US on 1970's I think and my father lost a communication with them. And maybe they never care to know my father's welfare anymore coz they never wanted him anyway eversince. My father is a child of my grandfather on his 2nd wife.
But anyway, i just want to say hello to all my never-known-cousins there in US and to all my aunts and uncles. Hope they are all ok and blessed with a happy life. ;-)

Louise Yell Palencia, 82, died March 23, 2005. The Brewton, AL, native had lived in Florida for many years, moving to Glennville, GA six years ago.

She is survived by Louise Hemphill of Maggie Valley, NC; Juanita Yell of Glennville; Bill Yell of Apopka, FL; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services and burial were private.

Carter Funeral Chapel of Glennville, GA, was in charge of the arrangements.

My son is adopted. We are reunited with his birth family in Colombia. His father is a Palencia. The family is originally from the coast of Colombia. Family members live in various coastal towns as well as Puerto Wilches on the Rio Magdalena.
