My great-grandfather immigrated from Messinia around 1912. His name was Peter George Pantazopoulos, and was subsequently changed to Pantages upon arriving. I have been told that he came through Ellis Island, but have yet to find anything that will substantiate that. He ended-up in the Northeastern part of Ohio (the Canton) area.
