I realize this is an old thread, but I might be able to help you. My maiden name is Pauls, and my Pauls' people came from Accomack County to Poquoson, VA and stayed since the 1700's. I've lived here all my life. If you are still looking for relatives, let me know and I'll be happy to try and help.
I and a relative of mine have done many years of research on Pauls and Wiebe surnames. I have this all in my possession with a large amount of documentation. Most of it
relates to what was then Prussia, South Russia, and the USA. Please feel free to contact me at ewmv2@msn.com. I will be glad to share with you and hope you can do the same for me.
Isaac (Isaak) or Henry (Heinrich) Pauls, Canada

I am looking for any information about my grandfather, Isaac Isaac Pauls, or my great-uncle, Henry Isaac Pauls. My grandfather was born 28 October 1897, passing away on 29 December 1963 in Kelowna, BC, Canada. I have found some information regarding where he was born:

Village name: Elisabeththal
Russian Village name: Yelizavetovka
Year founded: 1823
Government District: Taurida
Colony Name: Molotschna
Mother Colony: Prussia

My grandfather immigrated to Canada in July, 1924 and settled in Saskatchewan. He married my grandmother, Katherine (Katie) Seimens in 1926. My great-uncle Henry was born 1 December 1905, and followed him to Canada in 1926. Their brother Dave came many years later.

Their parents were Isaac Pauls and Lena (or Helen?) Kraus. They owned an oil mill in the town where my grandfather was born.

Beyond the little information I have here, the trail seems to have died. If anyone has any more information about these Pauls, I'd greatly appreciate an email at christmasdragonfly@yahoo.com. Thanks!

I am the developer of the Peter B. Wiebe and Peter Heinrich Pauls genealogies. I have known for a long time that many of the Mennonite emigrants who left Friesland with Menno Simons to go to West Prussia stayed in Bad Oldesoe, Wuestenfeld, and Hamburg-Altona, Germany at some point in the 1600's. If you have any information on this please contact me directly at ewmv2@msn.com. I will be glad to share with you major work I have done on Pauls & Wiebe genealogies.

Looking for anyone with information concerning Mary Jane Smith Pauls, the wife of William Lucas Pauls married circa 1855 probably near Humansdorp. They had 12 children including William, Henry, Susan, Stephen, Emily, Ada, Charlie, Jessie and John. Jane died after 1911.

Jane's brother Henry Smith married Martha Knight, daughter of John Knight and Jane Miller Knight of Ireland.

Martha's sister Rachel Knight married James Henry O'Driscoll also of Ireland

We're putting together this extended tree and would love to collaborate with anyone working on any of these lines.

Thanks,
Dave Merrill

I'm guessing that the name Henrik Pauls is probably Heinrich, which would be a much more typical Pauls name. I must have 8-10 Heinrich Pauls from 1742 to 1893 in my Pauls genealogy, but none born 1846. Feel free to contact me at my e-mail address for any other inquiries.

I have done a lot of work on the Pauls Genealogy. My grnadmother was the daughter of Johann Pauls, who was born in Molotschna Colony, So. Russia. His parents and grandparents came from Rosenkranz, Prussia. Prior to that both Pauls and Wiebes came from primarily Friesland, which was a section of the Netherlands with Plattdeustch, Low-German speaking people.
Information on Johann Pauls

Hello! I'm working on a research paper on the immigration of my ancestors to America, and I was wondering if anyone had some information about Johann Pauls. He was born 20 Nov 1825, in Schardau, South Russia (according to a family tree I have), married 18 Oct 1851 in Franzthal, South Russia, and died 5 Jan 1907 in Burrton, Kansas. His parents were Peter Heinrich Pauls and Elizabeth Unrau, and was married to Eva Becker.
I'd appreciate it if anyone could help by posting some information about his immigration to America, or anything more about him, in that case. Thanks!
