Parents Ebenezer Peck and Nanch HOrton.. Not sure if this is a connection, but was suprised to see your picture..I cant make out any names though so hard to know if any names would match.

Is there an entry that would indicate info about an Alonzo Peck, born in either Denmark or NY. Mainly I am trying to locate any brothers or sisters or his parents. He married Elizabeth Bryant in 1842 in Kendall Co., IL and had several children. One was my great grandfather William Riley Peck born 1857 in Seward Twp, Kendall Co., IL. Anything along this order would help. In any event thank you. dayve@mchsi.com

Hi Arvalee
I believe Im a direct descendent of Barnabas Peck, thats if he is the same Barnabas b 1813 Sleaford and is the father of John Thomas Peck, Sarah Peck and Charles Peck who resided at Newton Str Lincs. If so John would be the father of William, b 1887, and Barnabas would then be my great great great great grandfather
rgds
Simon Peck

Hi, I have a full family record copy of Jacob Pinto, William Pinto(b. 1760) and more information on General Francis Pinto (William's son b. 1823) and his daughter, Lauretta Pinto (b. 1854) of whom I'm direct descendants. I'm keen to discuss / share the family records I have as well as learn more about them!!! For example, the document I have says William was in Yale class of 1777 and his two brothers matriculated but left to join the revolutionary war effort. Solomon was commissioned March 18, 1780 7th regiment Connecticut line, Colonel Herman Swift and served from 1777- June 1883.

The stuff you know on Jacob is very interesting as my Grandfather grew up in the house on State & Grand St, New Haven.

Have never completed genealogical research and am keen to collaborate. Please feel free to contact me on me@meaganbirch.com

Many Thanks,
Meg

I'm Grace's granddaughter. My mother is Faye [Younkin].
I have a couple of old pictures that Grandma told me were some of her "people". She never identified them. One of my pictures says Henry Peck and Mary Louise Simons on the back. I think they were Grandma's grandparents. The other two pictures...I have no idea who they are. What a shame.
I also have a couple pictures of Ida and John and I think, some of his sisters are in it. I don't know if we are supposed to put our email address on here or not. I'd love for you to see these pictures. And if you have any, I'd love to see those. I will check about the email.

Leonard Earl Peck/ Gladys Myers (Edited w/new info)

I'm running into wall after wall with my husband's family tree. If anyone can help me I would sure appreciate it. Here is the information I have:

Elijah Myers married a woman named Effie (don't know last name for her)

Elijah had at least two brothers- Arthur King Myers & William Myers.

Elijah and Effie had a daughter named Gladys. I believe Gladys married Leonard Earl Peck but I can't substantiate this.

Gladys & Leonard had at least two sons- Leonard Elijah Peck & Arthur Edward Peck.

Leonard Elijah Peck was born on November 2, 1917 in St. Louis Missouri. This is my husband's grandfather.

The information I need is for the Leonard Earl Peck side of the family. I'm completely blocked here. If anyone has any info on this lineage I would so appreciate it. Or if you can point me in a new direction for finding new information, that would work too.

Thank you so much!

Re: Deliverance Peck, b. 1680 in MA

Thank you, Joyce, for the information.

I am trying to determine the name of the wife of Immigrant William Cohoun of Swansea, Ma & Rehoboth. There are so many Cahoon surname researchers and so many claims that her name was Deliverance Peck and yet, there is not one single valid shred of evidence to that affect. :(

I am not opposed to her having that name... heehee... I merely want validation, rather than blind acceptance.

So, if I can not prove that was her name... then perhaps I can at least establish that none of the other Deliverance Pecks of the time could have been available to give birth to the children attributed to my ancestral couple. :)

Torrey, by the way, acknowledged a marriage had surely occurred but even he did not presume to know the name of the bride... he would have had access to claims made to the effect of her name being Deliverance Peck... but he did the honorable thing... from a researching perspective... and deliberately left the bride's name space blank... because no proof appears to be available to support valid provision of one.

Thank you again... and I should mention... the link you so graciously provide, no longer functions.

The other side of the frame has picture of the birthplace of children of seril peck of the 7th generation in elkdale Penn and a picture of Seril and Rachel Hallstead. On the bottom of the frame it states in the left hand coner "data from Galusha A Peck" and in the right hand coner it states "drawn by N A Frey on Jan 22, 1931
