I believe the Pendreds in Michigan began with William Groom Pendred. Just do a search of this board for the word groom.

I know of a Sarah Harriett Pendred who came to Michigan from England in the early 1900s when she was about 6 years old. She married twice. Her first husband was Jay Mc.Phee. They had 3 children: Colin, Shirley, and Jay. When her 1st husband died, she remarried Charles O. Loskowski and had 2 more children: Ronald and Robert.

William Groom Pendreds parents were William Pendred and Amy Pastel. They had eight childred..Michael, Fred, Charles, William Groom, George, John, Jim, and Sarah.

Williams father was also named William, who had 3 childred.. William, Michael and Sarah.
