Perrin/Parrot/Perrot Connection

I've seen a large number of trees linking the Perrin family to the Parrot family and then to the Perrot(t) family in lineage.

Often see Thomas Perrin (c1540-1626, England) marrying Catherine Parrot (1544-1603, England).

Catherine Parrot, supposedly dau. of Thomas Parrot (c1520-?) and Elizabeth Parker (c1520-?)

Thomas Parrot, supposedly son of Sir Thomas Perrot(t) and Mary Berkley or deBerkley or Barkley.

I find that last part to be fairly suspect as these trees usually continue to show the lines of Sir Thomas Perrott who married Mary dau. of James Barkley/Berkley. Who only had two sons, John and Owen.

The baronetage of England Vol. 3
p. 463 paragraph 5
http://goo.gl/Wckgl

The Perrot lineage is a fun one to follow and leads to much royalty and even the roman empire. However I'm still looking for proof the Perrins are actually related. If you have this line in your tree and actually have some sources (other than another tree), I would love to see.

I also have my father's dna so if you or your father has dna report we could see if there are links.

Does your tree have sources /references? Or stories/photos? I did not see refernces for Christopher in your tree.

Thanks again,
G

I have since discovered that my Perrin's arrived in NYC from Pictou 1836, as a family, without their wife/mother, on the ship Virginia. Was hoping this would help in going backward to discover John Sr's spouse & parents, but not yet.

John is 47, son John is 21, George 19, Isaac 15, Suzanna 17, Elizabeth 12 & Agnes 10

Agnes is married to Matthew Scott and is living in Buffalo in 1850, and they move on to Holland, Ottawa, Michigan. Isaac marries Mary Ann Quinton in Buffalo, Erie, NY and moves to Nebraska, where he dies and she remarries David or Daniel Whitney. George marries Mercy Peters and remains in Buffalo NY until his death in 1888

No evidence of Suzanna, Elizabeth or John yet. But will post if I find anything new

I believe you are talking about my 4th great grandmother Martha Hazelton. She was married to THomas Hazelton and the only child I am aware of is Fidelia Martha Hazelton (1849-1933) married to Alexander D. Yerden (my GGG Grandfather). An obit for fidelia Yerden states she was the daughter of Thomas and Martha Hazelton, originally from Hammond Area but died in Alexandria Bay. I was not aware of her maiden name or parents or anything so I thank You!
Hi, have been looking at Josiah on another forum. I am assuming someone has actually seen the marriage cert for Josiah and Sarah. I only ask because of the age discrepancy - he 45 and she 19. Seems to me, looking at FamilySearch that there are quite a few Josiah PERRINs who would be nearer her age. I'm sure you would have looked at this! His death sure is elusive.

Judith

Let me see if I can help your confusion. Rachel Ide and Jesse Perrin were married. Rachel Ide was born 02 Dec 1730 in Rehoboth, MA and died 15 Aug 1808 in Perinton, NY. Jesse Perrin was born 24 Jan 1726 in Rehoboth, MA and died 15 Jan 1801 in Rehoboth. Rachel's father is Daniel Ide born 04 June 1701 in Rehoboth and died date and location unknown. Rachel's mother is Hannah Carpenter birth and death dates, as well as, locations all unknown. Jesse's father is John Perrin born 08 Mar 1692 in Rehoboth and died 28 Feb 1731 in Rehoboth. Jesse's mother is Rachel Ide born 28 May 1696 in Rehoboth and died 04 Dec 1780 in Rehoboth.
As you can see from the dates, the two Rachel Ide's are DIFFERENT people. Jesse's mother, Rachel, and Rachel's father, Daniel, are brother and sister. Their parents are Timothy Ide born Oct 1660 in Rehoboth and died 05 Apr 1735, location unknown and Elizabeth Cooper birth date & location unknown and died 02 Aug 1744 location unknown.
I hope that explains things a bit better. Let me know if you want the pedigree chart.
my records show Jesse's father was John Perrin, b 08 Mar 1692, d 28 Feb 1731 both in Rehoboth, MA. Mother was Rachel Ide b 28 May 1696, d 04 Dec 1780 both in Rehoboth, MA. Rachel Ide's parents were Daniel Ide b 04 Jun 1701 in Rehoboth, MA and d unknown. Her mother was Hannah Carpenter (no dates available). It's a bit confusing as there are two Rachel Ide. Timothy Ide had several children; two of which were Rachel and Daniel. I have the whole line back to the first John Perrin b 10 Mar 1614 in Chelmsford, England if you're interested.

The Perrin's of Darke Co., OH.

I am searching for information on my Perrin Family. The info I have is as follows:

George Perrin came to the US in 1849 on the ship "Constellation" (I believe from Liverpool, England)) @ 1849 with his family. His wife was Eliza Brown as I have it.
amoung other children was my gggrandfather William Perrin, he later married Leah Wolf, they had my ggrandfather George William Perrin, and he married Eunice Idella Colville, they had my grandfather Ova Harrison Perrin, who married Edna Helen Sleppy, they had Earl Lawrence Perrin, he married Ondia Mae Throckmorton, and they had my sister and I. I know this is very vague but I will add/edit it later. Any info on my ancestry prior to their arrival would be greatly appreciated. May the Lord bless You and Keep You Always and in All Ways. Sincerely, Glenn email address is familytree55@comcast.net Thank You!!!

Re: John Perrin(1612-1674)- Rehoboth, MA

You may want to go to your local library and see if they can do a WorldCat search for the book. Are you looking for: "The John Perrin family of Rehoboth, Massachusetts" by Stanley Ernest Perin. There are at least 19 libraries that own the book. It may be available for interlibrary loan. If not, it may be available at a nearby major library's genealogical room. I did check archive.org and did a search for it on that website, but it isn't one of the texts they have available.
