Could Piszczek be a spelling in your family line? It sounds the same. My grandpa was Felix Roman Piszczek b. 25 June 1905 in Milwaukee. One of his siblings was Casimir Piszczek b. 18 Dec. 1903 in Milwaukee. Felix and Casimir graduated from medical school together in Michigan. They couldn't get internships at any hospital due to their Polish ethnicity. They followed the advice of their med school dean and changed their surname from Piszczek to Park. Possibly, other siblings did the same. Their father came here from Poznan, Poland, as far as I know. I think their mother's maiden name was Julia Gorshka or Gorska.
