my name is adrian piceno currently living in california and my fathers name is ramon piceno. my father was born in michoacan, mex. my fathers family still lives there. i saw somebody elses reply how their fathers name is ramon also what a coincidence. ive done a little research on our last name and found out that there is a city in italy named asciolli piceno. so our last name is italian.

hello to all Picenos. I grew up in Los Angeles. My father is from Guanajuato Mx. I know the Piceno name came from Italy not France.

Hi!! I guess were cousins. My dad's name is Ramon Piceno and he told me once that the name Piceno came from france so were part french. But thats about all I know.

My husband is also Piceno, his father is from Michoacan as well. I would imagine y'all are definitely related in some way, what was your fathers name? My husband is Juan Manuel, his Father is Manuel. I'm trying to find some info on his geneaology as he has been finding only dead ends. thanks.

well, my grandfather too was from Michoacan, Mexico. I am also trying to find my italian roots and where exactly did the Piceno name come from and why Mexico.?...we must somehow be related...like Veronica mentioned, the Piceno name is not a common name. How ironic, that our grandparents are from Michoacan.....

I have also been doing research, and I came across this information...........long time ago Italians landed in Mexico, In Michoacan. My dad and grandfather are both from Michoacan. There is two cities in Michoacan name Nueva Italia and Lombardo due to the fact that many years ago Italians landed and settled in various parts of Mexico. We pronounce are last name like this......Peesenno. I dont know about Pequeno.

My last name happens to be Piceno too.
I am also trying to find out some history
on our last name. My grandfather was born and still
living in Michoacan, Mexico. So far the Info that I have
got is that long time Italians settled in Mexico. I am still
trying to find out my great-great-great grandfathers info.
Our last name is not common, so I think some how all us Piceno's
are related. Well it was nice to know there are other Piceno's
