Hi Ben,
I am trying to research my. G G G grandfather Evan McDonald who lived in Mclennans Mountain, Pictou. I can see that it is not the same Evan that you have, but thought there may be a chance that you have come across him in your research.
The details I have are, he was probably born in Nova Scotia about 1806.
His wife,s name was Ann and they were farmers in Mclennans mountain.
their daughter, Annie married Henry Bates on 16th September 1874 in Church of Scotland, Mclennans Mountain. The minister was Rev. Gould and the witnesses were,Finlay and Pat? McDonald. As I live in New Zealand I am finding it difficult to access the records over there, and I wondered if by Chang you had come across this family?

Regards,

Ken Ward

James FLEMING (1863-1922) burial?

My wife is a great-granddaughter of James Fleming (1863-1922) and Elizabeth S Cameron (1867 - 1896). Elizabeth, and James' 2nd wife Mary Margaret Ellen Betts (1875 - 1929), are both buried in Brookside Cemetery, New Glasgow. James death certificate gives only Stellarton as place of burial, no cemetery mentioned. Would someone be so kind as to stop by the Brookside cemetery and see whether James is buried with his wives?
