I am looking for Private Richard Pill, Royal Marine, as above, who was married to MARY ANN POOLEY. She was born in St. Mabyn 1810. He was father to Maria Pill b.1838 who married George Williamson, (also a Royal Marine, stationed at Marine Barracks, East Stonehouse). Marriage was on 19.7.1858 at the Parish Chuch in East Stonehouse, Plymouth. Can anyone place him please?

John Pill b c1803 Boat Builder Gorran East Cornwell M Johannah Philip b c1794 her parents James & Mary (Oliver).
Jacob 1830-1888 m Maria (lived Portland Victoria Australia) ? any relation. I have a lot of the Australian Pill history.

anyone know anything regarding sydney pill, he married mary e cole. all i know is that they had 3 sons and 6 daughters.
Kathleen rita born 1932 died 2005 (which is my grandmother).
Joan, Pearl, Phyllis,Josephine and Lena G (I know Lena was mmarried to Frank Wearne but cannot find when she was born)
there was also Maurice, Victor and Gordon.

Hi, reading your various threads I think we might be related? My 4 x Greatgrandad was Hugh Pill, coastguard from Sennen Cove. I also found out he was born Gorran, married Sarah St.Andrew in Lymington, his son Benjamin was born in Lowestoff and he was working as a coastguard in Sennen Cove during the census until he died in Wherrytown. How did you find out about working on IOW? I live in Hampshire. I was also trying to find out why he was in Lowestoff it seems a long way from Cornwall. I would be really interested to hear how you've got on. Thanks Jo

MY HUSBANDS GT.GT GRANDFATHER WAS A MR.PILL OF UPPER MILTON (WYCHWOODS) HE HELD BAPTIST SERVICES IN HIS COTTAGE ( OPP COTTAGE TO "HARRY'S" COTTAGE) IN 1808 A MR GOOFFE OF HOOK NORTON BUILT A CHAPEL AND SERVICES WERE THEN HELD THERE.

Hello Jean. All Gorran Pills are related to each other, some closer than others. My Hugh Pill was born there in 1789 and was a coastguard in lots of places after he left Gorran.
