<title>Variations of spelling: Piney, Peeny, Penny, Piny</title>
      <link>http://boards.ancestry.co.uk/surnames.piney/2/mb.ashx</link>
<description>I am researching Cordelia Peeny born about 1821 most likely in Conn. She lists Conn on two census records and NY on another. She married Henry Johnson and the couple lived in the Adams Co area of OH where they had seven children. Unfortunately, the Adams County Courthouse burned many years back and records were lost making researching difficult. I have been told the last name could have had a variety of spellings. I have been at a dead end with this ancestor for years. I hope someone may recognize the family and have information to share.</description>
