I found the Marriage for Salvador and the baptism about 4or 5 chilcren

You have the spouse for Marcos as Maria Veronica Acosta - She is the wife of Cristoval - What do you show as the spouse for Marcos Pinon?

The Pinon Line goes like this:

Joseph Pinon & wife Cathalina Vernal had
Salvador Pinon & wife Ana Mendoza had
Christoval Santiago Pinon & wife Maria Veronica Acosta had
Marcos Pinon & Maria Veronica Acosta had
Nicolas Pinon & wife Antonia Luera
etc

I have copies of marriage dipsensations from the Rio Grande Historical Collection at New Mexico State Unversity at Las Cruces as they have a microfilm collection titled "Archivo Historical del Arzobispado de Durango". I have four of these that in total explain Christoval Pinon onward. Marriage Dispensations usually detail out a four generation relationship so you can see a Great Grandparent and how they are related to a great grandchild. These thus establish quite few connections.

From Christoval back you can find he was baptised at Parral Chihuahua on August 21, 1688 by using the IGI and the scanned Parral Churchbook records at familysearch.org. Christoval's marriage is January 12, 1711 or 1712 at Valle de San Bartolome also in IGI and scanned churchbook records. Christoval father Salvador Pinon was married June 27, 1677 at Parral also in IGI and scanned records.

These older churchbooks show the parents and such. If you send me an e mail I can send you PDF copies of them. It's dalucetx at the hotmail dot com address.

When researching Santa Isabel there are a few Census Records availble which from my memory are 1778, 1802, 1822, 1827 which can help a little bit. The churchbooks from Santa Isabel (aka General Trias) are in many cases very incomplete but by looking for common parents you can often substitue siblings to determine show the grandparents are and such. It is also worth looking at Carretas (now Gran Morales), and San Lorenzo (now Dr Belisario Dominquez) as I have found many many relationships between these close communities.

There are lots of family trees on line and I am not saying there are all wrong but it is wise to establish documentation just liek you are asking about and I can tell you that you are on the ritht track.

From some of the messages, it seems you are very familiar with the pinones and General Trias.
I am decendant of Santiago Pinon, Son of Nicolas Pinon (M. to Antonia Loera) and Many public trees have his parents as Marcos Pinon and Victoria Duarte. I have not been able to find the document to confirm this = I found a marriage civil registration in 1838 for Pilar Pinon which has his father as Santiago, and Grandfather as Nicolas (Spouses match) I do find some records for a Marcos who is married to Catarine Nevarez in General Trias, but can not find the connection to my Nicolas Pinon - Can you shed any more information on this and do you know where I could look for records prior to the books from General Trias (They star with about 1800).

Sorry cannot help with Pinon ancestors but noticed your name and wondered if any of your ancestors were Jonas/John Nield born 1834 in Cheshire England and his wife Jane born 1845 in Cheshire. They had 2 children Robert Henry Nield and Jonas/James Nield.
They all have "disappeared" from the British records after the 1881 Census and the story in the family is that they emigrated to Argentina.

The pinon's started in Galicia Spain. Some moved to San Andres Chihuahua, Mexico where they settled back in the 1800's . My fathers father was Juventino Romero and his wife was Maria Ortiz Pinon. Maria's mothers name was Maria del Socorro Pinon Jaquez, and her husband was Evaristo Ortiz Dominguez....I barely remember as a little girl just barely, on a trip to Chihuahua I remember this petite OLD lady , very blond with blue eyes and very beautiful, small thin face, very feisty and high spirited , I remember asking my father who that was and him telling me that was his grandmother... she lived to be almost 100yrs of age.
It would be nice to gather the relatives in Chihuahua Mexico with the ones in Galicia Spain... What an even that would be.

Mucho de los Pinones se mudaron a Chihuahua Mexico a un lugar llamado San Andres. Alli asentaron cabeza. El padre de mi padre se llamaba Juventino Romero y la esposa de el se llamaba Maria Ortiz Pinon. Recuerdo de muy pequena visitamos a la abuela de mi padre "Maria del Socorro Pinon Jaquez" era una viejita de advansada de edad muy guera y de ojos asules y muy bella. Su carita pequenia de perfil delgado y muy delicado y muy hermosa. Ella era la abuela de mi padre.
Asi que tenemos familiares que no conocemos en Chihuahua Mexico y otros en Espania que no conocemos. Que lindo seria juntarlos a todos....

I believe my Marcos Pinon is the son of Christoval Santigo PINON and Maria Veronica ACOSTA. The paternal granparents would then be Salvador PINON and Ana MENDOZA. The great grndparent being Joseph PINON and Cathalina PINON & Francisco MENDOZA and Petronila ALARCON. They would have orginated in Parral, Chihuahua.

1. Iganacio PINON and wife Maria de Jesus CHAVEZ who had thier children 1800 to 1830 at Santa Isabel.

I found it interesting that my maternal granfather is Pinon-Porto also from El Ferrol Spain. Where we still have family in Vallaobre. He lived in Oriente, Cuba. Married and had 9 children. Eight are still living. My mother has many fond memories of him and her time in Cuba. My mother now lives in the USA. Is there any relation to your family roots? Hi, My grandfather's name was Amio Pinon. Please note it was with a spanish "n" not the regular "n." My grandfather was born in 1909 in Cuba and his father died young and I do know that is father was either Spanish or of Spanish decent. I think there might be a connection. I will ask my mother if she know the name of my grandfather's dad.
