Parents of Anne Plummer m. Henry Sampson Plymouth Colony, America 1633

I have seen submissions to this list which show Anne Plummer or Plumer, wife of Henry Sampson of Plymouth Colony, as the daughter of one Benjamin Plummer and sister of Matthew Plummer. Anne Plummer is known to have had a cousin or sister Mary Plummer, who married John Barnes of Plymouth Colony in 1633. But I know of no reputable source which claims Anne's origin is known. If someone really has a primary source or published secondary source for this assertion, I would be pleased to learn of it, as would the other thousands of descendants of Anne Plummer and Henry Sampson. Until then, those who post Internet pedigrees can do all of us a favor by deleting any reference to Anne's parents or supposed brother.
My line ends in the book with #1086-II Henry(8)Plummer Born Oct 27 1813 died Sept 28 1860 aged 46.

The book is a Geanology of Francis Plumer who came to NE in 1634 on the Hester to settle in Newbury, MA.
Hi.

I don’t know if this would be of any help but, lots of Plummers that moved to California were skilled hard rock miners who came from Cornwall, England. Many worked the mines in the Mother Load area of the Sierra Foothills from Grass Valley/Nevada City down to Sutter Creek. My Great-Great-Grandfather, John Plummer, came here around 1880 and later sent for the rest of his family. This may be an area that has some local records like cemetery groups, churches, marriages, mine worker lists etc…

Debra Plummer

My E-mail has changed to AuntieDebH@yahoo.com
born 13 June 1880
died 27 Sep 1950
Death certificate lists his father's name as "Leventine". I know how inaccurate information can be in the census and on vital records. I suspect this information isn't accurate either. I can not find any history for Leventine Plummer. Leventine's wife's name was possibly Mary Couch (this from the death certificate) Roy's wife's name was Mary Lanum. Their children were Vernie, Mattie, Wes, Viola, Rosalee, Leventine, Manual, Leroy. Viola was my grandmother. These Plummer children were raised in Osage County, Oklahoma, the WORST state for archive research of the fifty. Roy Lee died in DeQueen, Arkansas. Could someone PLEASE give me a hint? I swear ALL of my ancestors were nomads and I've chased them all over the US for almost ten years.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I hope this is NOT my stone wall for this line!

Richard Plummer was my grandfather, not the one who died in 1815, but the one who died just this year. There was a barn there when my family first bought the farm, but they rebuilt the barn. The farms is located in Sidman, PA. The barn is being torn down though, so if you'd really like to visit I'd say hurry up because my father is having the farm cleaned up and getting rid of a lot.

I have been trying to find out information on a John Plummer in which I can not find anything about his family or who his paretns were. From what I have gathered he came to the United States sometime around 1796. From the information I have been able to gather he was from Kentucky. The old story that I have concerning him is that he was a stow away and came to America. Don't know if this is correct but this is the story I have been told. He had a wife by the name of Melinda. It would be interesting to find out if he was from these 3 brothers.

Do you happen to know the names of the brothers. I have been trying to find Daniel Jackson Plummer who married Emily A Calvert. Daniel parents are George and Martha as far as I can tell Martha's maiden name is plummer as well. George & Martha seem to be from North Carolina. If you have any names or dates or any info please let me know.

Brandy
butterfly_0899@yahoo.com
