Hi, my last name is Puentes (married Padilla) my grandfather: Francisco Puentes (1873) came from Mexico, his father was Bernabe Puentes (1832-1922) and mom Ynoalecia Hernandez. His brothers are:Esteban(1850-1948)Martin (1873-1974)Antonio(1881-1983)and Aparicio Puentes(Died in Mathis, Texas)This is what I know about my Grandfather: Francisco, he was born in Aguas Calientas, Oaxaca Mexico, in 1900 he tried to marry the 1st time but couldn't for he was only 17, He married 7 times over the years.My grandmother: Maria Ybarra-Puentes was wife # 7. He has lived in Mercedes in the 1930's and in 1974 he died in Beeville, Texas. Need to know if you know anything about my family.

hello, my last name is puente.
sadly i do not know about a manuel puente or their descendants but my granparents last name is Puente/Reveles. There has also been a dispute wether our last name is really Puente or Puentes.
We hail from a small ranch from Tenango, Zacatecas which is about five minutes from Villanueva, Zacatecas..

New DNA results have been posted for the Puentes Surname with ancestors in Zacatecas Mexico. His ancient origin is Western European (haplogroup R1b). These are the same origins as the Celtic people who were among the first settlers of Spain.

I am looking for relatives of Cleofas Marquez. He had 2 brothers: Jose & Paulo Marquez and 1 sister: Josefa "Chepa" Marquez. This is my mother's family.

His wife's name was Juana Ortiz who's mother was Filomena Castro de Ortiz.

My mom was born on 8/15/1926 in Santa Maria de Los Angeles, Jalisco.

I would like to contact any living relatives.

Looking for any information on Manuel Puentes(father) and Manuel Puentes (son)from El Vergel, Nieves, Zacatecas, both died in El Aguaje, Municipio de Viesca, Coahuila. Manuel jr. died in 1921. Manuel Puentes' (son) wife was Elodia Ortega-Ramírez from El Vergel, Real de Nieves, Zacatecas. They had the following children:
