Nixon, Cole, McQuality, Myers

Looking for any info on these surnames and their connection as I am working on our Myers family tree. I am willing to share info with others. Looking for Nixon line in southern Indiana, Myers line in central Illinois (Samuel was from New York? at least his son John W was born in New York)
Americus Littleton Cole is my brickwall - he was born in Tennessee around 1820 or so.

Hi Sheri! I don't know if we have met, but I do know that DNA evidence proved that my grandpa Gerald McQuality is actually your grandfather too. Interesting turn of events well after the fact, huh? Anyway, you and I are actually first cousins. I have spoken with Khristine several times. Are you in contact with aunt Linda by any chance?

George McQuality is my great great grandfather. Nora Hershey was my great great grandmother. It looks as though we are cousins!

Can you provide additional info on the McQuality family? My father is Larry McQuality. His father was Eldon McQuality and his mother was Velma Davis McQuality

Hi I'm one of those lost McQuality's. I found Issac b:1849 living next to George McQuality b:1818. Issac's wife Elizabeth and children Matilda, George, John William, Ida Belle, Elizabeth. George 1818 was with his wife Mariah b:1824 and daughter Nancy b:1865. I found them in the 1880 census living in Chirstian, Ill. page 575D. I don't have anything to back up my thought but I think George b:1818 might be the son of William b: 1776 of which I think is my McQuality line.

For what ever this is worth - I found Isaac F. McQuality in the 1860 census - living with his father - George - in Christian Co. Ill - P.O. Mt Auburn. Census page 252. ANCESTRY IMAGE #254.

and her dad is Isaac F. McQuality

Ida Belle McQuality was born 1877
and died August 31, 1973

Isaac F. McQuality and Elizabeth S. Rosenbarger
was married September 13, 1868 in Christian, Country ILL

She was a sister to George McQuality

Isaac Finley (Ike) McQuality and Elizabeth S. Rosenbarger
had 5 children.

I have been trying to connect up Isaac for years. They are all related, but I haven't found the connection yet, I think that He is connected thru William, but I haven't done much on that Line. I haven't done much research on the Indiana Ones.

Have you traced the name thru to Isacc, or are you tracing it from another path and came across Isacc? I am working on getting from another family member additional history. I am told that she has traced the McQuality's back to the 1400's.

For the longest time I have been wanting to research the McQuality name. I've always assumed that all the McQuality's were related. I would like to learn more about what you have learned. My father is Larry McQuality who resides in Prescott, AZ. My grandfather was Eldon Harold McQuality (deceased in 1984), my great grandfather was Harry McQuality (deceased in 1956), great-great grandfather George McQuality, and great-great-great grandfather Isacc Finley (Ike) McQuality (born in June 1849).
