Hi...

I have an Antonio Lopez Rabago (or Rabago Lopez) in my family. He is my great-great grandfather, born in 1861 in Coahuila, Mexico. He had a sister who was called Paula. I am not sure if that was really her name.

I am researching for my family, any help would be great!

The origin of the Rabago surname seems to be from the town of Rabago in northern Spain. When they came to Mexico they used their town as part of the surname to show where they came from.

I am looking for information, if any, on my great great grandfather. He was Antonio Rabago Lopez, he had a sister named Paula. I have a picture of them and about 10 or so other relatives (Rios & Castillo).

My father is Emilio Rabago Cardenas, originally from San Antonio, Tx. My family and I are very intrested in finding out more about out family tree. Most of us live in Laredo, Tx. and in Nuevo Laredo.

I AM LOOKING FOR RELATIVES OF DAVID RABAGO, SR. LIVED IN SAN ANTONIO IN 1941 AND WAS A MUSICIAN.

He fathered my dad who was named David Rabago, Jr., with Esperanza Garcia and she gave birth on 12-10-1941 in San Antonio, Texas. They were not married.

We know nothing about David Rabago except that he had family in California and that he was a musician that played in bars.

My dad was adopted and renamed David G Adame and settled in the Corpus Christi, TX area.

There is a group of Rabago's here in Corpus Christi but we've never got any cooperation. We are even willing to do blood tests! I think Jesus Rabago is the head of that clan and perhaps he was one of David Rabago, Sr.'s brothers?

Hi my maiden name is Monica Oropeza. My father is Miguel Cesar Oropeza Teran. I have a large family tree (connected to over 45 million entries) including family Pacheco. Francisco Alvarez de Toledo Pacheco (son of Count and Countess of Oropeza) is the Spanish conquistador that traveled to Peru and Bolivia, and founded many cities. My aunt Trina's maiden name was Rabago. She was my father's sister. My name is Mary Rabago-Duggan and I live in Texas,actually Maria Consuelo Rabago.

How funny! My Tio Horacio married a Trinidad. Her maiden name was Martinez. So she was a Trinidad Rabago.

You might be related to Mary Rabago. I think that is her name. She is from Texas. I will find out her name and let you know for sure.

My dad and my grandparents and aunt settled in Friendswood, Tx. My dad only had one sister who survived out of the family. Her name was Trinidad Rabago.

When he left, where did he move too? Do you know if he was related to Horacio, Frank, Antonio, Fernando, Bereranda, and Alicia Rabago? (they are brothers and sisters) Their father'e name was Fernando Rabago who immigrated from Asturias, Spain.

My dad was Antonio Trujillo Rabago from LaBarca, Jalisco, but he was not a general. He left Mexico when he was 2 years old.

Although several years later I thought I would reply anyway =) .. My great grandpa was from illocos norte before he came to the US .. his name was roque rabago. I believe his fathers name was Matthew (?) and Setornina (mother ) and josepha (a sister ) Well just wondering if there is any relation? trying to figure out our roots.

This is in response to an old email you posted in 2002 with the surname of your grandfather, Luis Rabajo Orea. I am interested in finding out if you have any information on the Orea surname since it is not a very common name. I do not have any Rabago's in our tree but I do have a lot of information on the Orea's from Mexico if you are interested in exchanging information. I look forward to hearing from you. Our family has a deep history from the Cantabria area of Spain and in the Mexican states of Puebla and Oaxaca.

I was born in Tijuana, Mexico. My family's from La Parrilla, Durango, Mexico. They moved from Durango to Tijuana sometime in the 50's. My grandma's name was Maria del Socorro Rabago de Garcia. She had a couple of sisters but I can only remember the name of one of them, Celia. All of my aunts and uncles live in Playas de Tijuana, they're names are Maria Elena, Carmen, Margarita, Socorro, Manuel, Javier and my mom's name is Josefina. They've all had many kids, and grandchildren, a few of us moved to Cali and Washington.

My Dad, Antonio Rabago born in 1915 and came to Friendswood, Tx in 1917. His father's name was Felix Arevalo Rabago and he was born around 1885 in La Barca, Jalisco. I have 4 brothers, Antonio, jr., Joe Frank, Felix and Andrew Rabago. I was the only daughter, Maria Consuelo Rabago. My dad had one sister, Trinidad Rabago, who was 2 years older than my dad. Naomi, I believe we are related. My father (Lupe Rabago) did live in Scottsbluff, Ne. I know he had 5 brothers, Dionicio, Pedro, Jose, Juan ad Santiago.
