Looking for Grandfathers family

My grandfathers name was Sam Rabin from Chicago. He came from a small town in the Unkraine called Lanowitz in 1911 and sent for his family (wife.,surname Kramer, twin sons, and another son) in 1921. His brother Joe settled in New Jersey Ashbury Park I think). Joe died in 1977. I am looking for members of Joe's family that can perhaps fill in some of the blanks as to my grandfathers other brothers and sisters and well as his parents.

Re: family roots

This is what I'vw gathered so far!!!
Jean Jaques Audubon was born illegitimately in Les Cayes to a ship captain and
slave trader (I know, I know but what did you expect?) and a young woman
whose name was Marie Antoinette Rabin Fougere. (she only lived from 1760
to 1785). In those days, it was illegal to give either your father's or
your lover's name to an illegitimate child, so JJ was known as
Jean-Jacques Rabin until his father adopted him.
So you see the problem...my guess is that "Bonnefil" (since it doesn't
seem to exist in France) is a "bastardization" of "son of Audubon?"
Bon--fils (or Bon -fille for daughter). My other theory is that is a
french version of Bonfiglio the Italian name.

If you look up the descendancy of Marie Antoinette Rabin Fougere, you see
a Morpeau, which is also the name of Estellie Morpeau, the wife of the
first Adolphe...
I am looking for any info on the Rabon line between 1700 - 1900. Here is the info I currently have available. All info has been documented by three sources none of which are the inernet.
My family is based out of Horry County SC or there abouts. My great grandfather is Homer Rabon born about 1900 his father is Andrew Jackson born about 1860, his father is George C. Rabon born about 1830
his father is Abraham Rabon born about 1800 and his father was William Rabon Sr born about 1765.
