Gerald B. Raddatz
Gerald B. Raddatz, 62, of Nelsonville, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2004, at St. Michael's Hospital, Stevens Point. He was born in Wausau, on April 20, 1941, son of Bernhardt and Alice (Kufahl) Raddatz. He was married to Patricia Alm on Aug. 13, 1966, in Nelsonville. Gerald enjoyed being in the woods and on the water.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Patricia Raddatz, Nelsonville; son, Timm (Michelle) Raddatz, Amherst Junction; daughters, Amy (Mark) Pearson, Nelsonville, Carrie (Roy) Wierzba, Amherst Junction, and Kristin (Christopher) Deptula, Stevens Point; grandchildren, Kasey Wierzba, Melinda Wierzba, Drake Pearson, Heather Pearson and Emma Deptula; and a sister, Joyce (Herman) Hilmershausen, Marathon. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Peace Lutheran Church in Amherst. The Rev. Gretchen Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst and also from 10 a.m. until the time of the services Monday at the church. Burial will be in Nelsonville Lutheran Cemetery in the town of New Hope following the services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Gerald's name.
