Yaqui heritage

Hi,

I am looking for the ancestry of Blanche Ramirez born around 1905 in Mesa, Arizona. On her Social Security application she named Frank Ramirez and Hellen Gonzales as her parents. She claimed to be of Yaqui descent. In 1910 (according to the census) there was a Francisco Ramirez born in 1850 and wife Martha, born 1855, and their family living in Mesa. Two houses away were Antonio and Inez Gonzales (no ages given) and next to them was Jose Gonzales born 1867 with wife Concepcion born 1877. Were these the families of Frank and Hellen?

Blanche ended up in California in the San Francisco area and died there in 1955.
Any information about a Ramirez and Gonzales family in Mesa around 1900 to 1910 would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Daniela
Phoenix, AZ

Good day! I was told by my parents who likewise were informed by their grandparents that the "ramirez" are from from MExico and incidentally my great grandfather Militon who then landed in Cavite is also from the galleon trade of Mexico.. We are from Isabela and presently residing here in Q.C...I heard that a brother and sister of Militon stayed so in Ermita and Militon went to the Isabela that is where our roots tarted in Isabela.. some lolo's of mine told us that we have relaties in Ilocos , specially in sto. Domingo and Vigan..where one name German Ramirez of Sto. Domingo is accordingly a close relative of my great granfather...i have already established our link with some of the Ramirezes in cavite..feel free to contact me at my email adress ...Rubenmonforteramirez@yahoo.com

Looking for lost Ramirez Uncles from Torreon Mexico

My granmother was Julia Ramirez born in 1892 or 1893. Her mother's name was Maria Ramirez born in 1874. Maria Ramirez had another son, Jose Ramirez, who immigrated to the states with Maria and Julia in or around 1916. They came in to the states in El Paso Texas and lived there the rest of their lives. Maria also had 6 other sons that came with them. My father (Maria's grandson) tells the story that when people immigrated in those days they could either keep their name or change it. These 6 decided to change their names and no one kept track of where they went or what their new names were so they were lost. Maria used to recite the original boys names to my father (Julia's son) and efforts were made to find them for her but the efforts were in vain. My father's uncles left El Paso and went north to places like Michigan to work as laborers or field hands. The only two original first names my father remembers are Manuel and Francisco. He does not know if the six only changed their last names or also their first names. If any of this story sounds familiar to anyone doing any research please let me know. It would mean a lot to us to find these missing uncles or their children. If it helps any, Julia was married to a man named Joe Tovar and lived in El Paso Texas and she also had two other children. Julia's daughter, Consuelo Ramirez Leal came from Mexico with them and then with Joe Tovar, Julia had Robert Tovar and Teresa Ofelia.
