But the probléme, is I live in france ... it's possiblethat a great great cousin , have immigrate in the state ?

Eleliona Ophelia Rancher b. 1831

My gg-grandmother was named Eleliona (possibly Eliona) Ophelia
Rancher, may very well have been Ranchero. Born in 1831, died 12/22/1897. Not
sure about burrial site, but believe that it is at Rockdale, Texas. She was married to
Henry Thomas Pruett, born 1811, died 6/12/1912. They had 9, children. 1) James
(Jim) Wesley, my g-grandfather, born 4/24/1844/ died 10/4/1926.
2) William Harvey, 3) Tom (probably Thomas) Jefferson, 4)Henry Clay, 5)Sallie
Elizabeth (married name Simmons) 6)Ella Ophelia (married name Simmons), 7)
John Henry, 8)Mary Jane (married name Moses) 9) Daniel Pruett. Any information
about her, her husband, or her children will be greatly appreciated. I have information
on the Pruett side to share.

James & Matilda Rancher, TX

would this portion of the family happen to have mississippi roots that might go back to tennessee also.

I have found relatives that moved to texas in the late 1800's by the name of James 1862-? and Matilda 1867-? Rancher. They had several children one of them being Edna Florence Rancher. James's father lived with them later in life and was named John H Rancher and was suppossedly from tennessee born around 1835 and dying around the 1920's.
