I have a Sir Edmund Moundeford 's will. In it, he speaks of a John Pleasance who is now using and occuping a farm of his.
In a will of Augustine Munford, he speaks of his sister Katherine Pleasants.....
In a will of Christophe Wormeley, he speaks of the Thorpes. In the will of Margaret Woremley, she speaks of Thomas Moseley, John Mosely, and William Cocke and Robert Mostyn as witnesses. So you see they are all in this book.
Thomas Mormeley speaks of the Moseleys, HOLLANDS (Alice Nash and William Proffitt had land together in Virginia) and a Mary Newsome . William Holland was his servant. His sister married a Moseley (Alderman Moseley)
Wm. Drury in his will of his nephew William PLEASANCE of Brandon Ferry and his father William PLEASANCE. This is a good book to research. I have no idea if this Alice connects to the Profitt line at all, I am just posting information that I have seen in the library. This book should help resolve many lines that go back to the UK. Ann
