Did anyone know that the REVIERS came from England as Sir Baldwin de Revier The Earl of Devon and Sir Galfride de Furneaux fought at the seconded siege of Exeter castle in Devon 1136.

John Morris Revier born August 31 1896, Hill Co TX
Henry Parks Revier born June 19, 1902, Baylor Co. TX
both are sons of Robert Henry and Ola Brown Fancher

I'm sure you have this, since they are from your family.
Do you have any information on Margaret Delcina Davis.
Or photos of John Franklin's family?

Ancestery.com message board have a Revier family of minnesota.As I said before the spelling of our family name was spelled so many different ways.I checked all the spellings .My ancestar was Francuar Reviere from Canada, sons name same as fathers with jr. added.These people came to Louisiana. jr. then moved to Texas, thats where most of the Reviere, Reviea family were from. you will find that Frances and Frank were used.

The name was spelled Revier in 1850,Rivier,Revia, and Reviere,Reviea.My Francis(Looney) Reviea.She was born in Texas, she was my grandmother.
There were alot of different spellings for the above names.
I need to get back into the family tree and do some more research.

I have a birth cert. from Minnsota, Hennepin County with a France Rever/Revar as the father to the person I am researching ..Rosalie LaCroix or LaCrosse.
Has your family ever spelt their name Rever or Revar?

I picked up a birth cert. from Hennpin County court house in Minnesota and the father of the person I am was researching was France Rever or France Revar from Canada.
Any connection?
I am researching the LaCroix family.

I had noted the difference in the parents of Margaret, but that's not what I had. I don't change my database until I can prove it to be wrong. I just make a note until I can get back to it.

I haven't done any research on the Davis line, so don't have the answer for you. I'll try to find the information I had originally used to list in my database. It's in my office, so will look tomorrow.

The information I have about Margaret Delcina Revier came from the Bryan web page. He says she is the daughter of Charles D. Davis and Mary Elizabeth (Wilson) Davis. He also has Margaret's birthdate as Feb. 22, 1852, born in Williamsport, Hickman Co. TN.

Margaret Delcine Davis, b. 1852 in Hickman Co, TN; d. 3 Nov 1948 in Ft. Worth, TX and buried in Peoria Cemetery, Peoria, TX.

Margaret was the daughter of John & Sarah Davis, b. SC

Looking for information about John Morris Revier and his brother, Henry Revier (b. Hill Co, TX) living in Las Vegas, NV circa 1940-1950. John Revier died December 1950 and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Las Vegas, NV.

If anyone has any information about these brothers, I would appreciate it greatly.

Looking for confirmation on some Revier names in Warren County, Georgia. John Hezekiah Reviere was born in Warren County, GA in about 1863 and died in 1943. I am about 90% sure that his dad was James G. Revier (1830-1915) Wilkes & Lincoln County, GA. I am thinking that his father was John K. Revier (born between 1775 and 1794). He may have married Sally Buckhalter (Burkhalter?) in Warren County, GA on 6-22-1805. Do you have any information on Sallie Reviere, daughter of Matilda Cronea and Francis Reviere Jr. Sallie married Archie Mac Cormick, probably in the 1860's. Are you related to the Reviere's? My great-great-great grandfather Gabriel Riviere moved to New York from Quebec in the early 1800's. He was a farmer and had a son named Julius Bert Revier who married Ann Lucretia Perry. Ann and Julius had a daughter named Frances. Could this be the Frances you mentioned?

I put alot of information on the LaRivier Surname Message Board about a Gabriel Rivier, Farmer, born about 1801 in Canada who farmed near Massena, NY. He had alot of children including a Julius. There is also information from a Kathy on that message board that may know your Gabriel's parents.

I've been working on mother-in-law's family. She is a Revier -- came from Massena, NY.
St Lawrence next door to Jefferson County.
I posted alot of information in the Larivier surname message board.

The Revier in the families I have traced in Massena started as Rivier or Riviere in the early 1800's. Beginning to believe that they may have been Larivier before that.

Check out info on Rivier families posted on the Larivier Surname message board. In my family, Revier evoled from Rivier. Rivier may have been an evolution from Larivier.

I have a William bn about 1848 in Messena, NY that I see in the 1870 census and then he is gone from that area.

I am searching for information on my Revier ancestors. My great-grandfather was William Revier. He was married to Matilda (don't recall the spelling but her last name is pronounced dickmeyer????). I believe they had 7 children: Julius, Lawrence, Ellen (my grandmother), Mabel, Isabelle, Evelyn and (Barbara?).
