My Grandfather on my mother's side was a Revilla and lived in Milano. That's where my Mom grew up.

I beleive we are related. My grandfather, Vicente Revilla, had a brother by the name of Candelario Revilla who moved to San Antonio. I know your uncle Margarito who lives in Galveston. My great-grandfather's name was Ines Revilla and my great-grandmother's name was Toribia Rodriguez. Ines Revilla came from Spain and settled in Saltillo. He had a sister named Canlendaria who lived in Monterrey. Great-grandfather Inez had a store in the mercado in Saltillo. You might have all this information as I can see that your post is dated 2001.

My Revilla connection is a lady named Carlota Revilla probably born in southern Chihuahua in the 1790s, who married Jose Antonio Maria Villalobos Yturrey Pastrana around 1814 in Chicollar.

im also a revilla, and my father is rodolfo "rudy" revilla and he is from cebu... i really dont knw much of the revilla's thats why im also researching... there are also revilla in bantayan island in cebu. and my father also said that they were our relatives.

I'm so glad to finally hear from someone. Is there any more information that u may have on your grandfather? My husbands grandfather and I believe some of his brothers were born in bracketville, tx maybe around the late 1800's or early 1900's. I am a revilla, born in Rockdale, TX now living in Austin...

I dont know much about my grandfather who was a Revilla, I think he lives in Milano, TX...would love to learn more because the only person I know with that last name is my mom which it was her maiden name.

Hi!! My name is Connie and I am married to Paul Revilla and we live in Bishop, TX. My husband says he had relatives living in Houston but is not sure of the names he says maybe a Santiago (Chago)Revilla. My husbands dad was Pedro Revilla Jr. and my husbands grandparents were Pedro and Julia Revilla, Sr. As far as Paul remembers his grandfather was Apache and alot of the Revilla family also lives around Oklahoma. Apparently the name is in a registry book that links them to the Apache indians. Hope to hear from u soon. Bye

My grandparents moved to Cuba in the early l900's. My grandfather's name was Emilio Revilla and he was married to Ascencion Portillejo. They lived in Santander, Spain. All their relatives lived in Spain.

in the philippines revillas are quite well-known, i guess one of the ways this clan originated here was when spaniards colonized us sometime in 1841 or 42 when ferdinand magellan brought his posse to our land, now i'm part of this family i guess, somehow anyway coz i carry the surname

Hello, I am also Revilla, I live in the Mexico city, according to me the origin of the Revilla comes from Spain.
In 1864 Manuel Gustavo Revilla was born Gustavo that was a grateful historian and studious of the arts in Mexico, he even wrote several books. it was Possibly kindred of my grandfather Miguel Revilla.
Here in Mexico the last name Revilla is not very well-known as other, in fact all the people that I know that its last name is Revilla are kindred.

A Julian Joseph (Joe) Revilla married my aunt right after WW2 in Lincoln Nebraska. They moved to Arcadia California and had two children, Julie and Richard. Julians mothers name was Sadie and his father Julian (from Spain). My uncle recently passed away while living in San Clemente, California. His daughter, my cousin, lives in nearby Capistrano Beach. My other cousin Richard has been detached from the family for many years, a long story. My uncles cousin Richard is a retired Opthomologist living in Berry, Vermont where all of Sadies and Julians children were born and raised.

I am interested in finding information about my Mother's family.
My mother's name was Antonia Revilla. Her parents were Candelario Revilla and Lina Contreras
I know very little other than their names and that they were from Saltillo.
They lived in San Antonio, where my grandfather made a living by making and sellling candy.
After my grandfather's death, my grandmother left San Antonio.
She and her three children, Margarito, Apolinar, and Antonio moved to the area east of San Antonio.
I know she was living in McQueeney, TX when she was struck and killed by a car in 1946.
